Highlights of the Engineering and R&D Services (ERS):
ERS is a 1.8 Billion USD business unit of HCL Tech with 45,000+ engineers who work for the Top 300 G2000
companies. ERS team has developed 2000+ patents, invested over USD 50M+ in labs and delivery centres across
USA, Europe, India (Noida, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune) and Vietnam.
Globally, healthcare enterprises including providers and payers are constantly striving to achieve three major
objectives: Improve patient care experience, optimize health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs through
healthcare consulting.
HCL is Partner to all the Top 10 Medical Devices companies and 6 out of 10 Global IVD companies. HCL has 7000+
diversified FTEs to provide services across the Product Life Cycle right from Concept/Idea Generation to Product
Release and Sustenance support. Today, HCL is the largest Indian ESP for medical devices with revenues of over
USD 400 M.
We are the preferred engineering partner for these companies for New Product Development (Software and
Hardware), Embedded Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering, IOT & Platform Development,
Setting up Offshore Development centres.

Candidates are expected to drive all aspects of Global Presales Activities for Business Acquisition with Fortune
500 and Global 2000 Medical Device Companies while interacting with Global Sales Teams, Practice Teams,
COEs, Delivery Teams, HCL’s Senior Management, developing competency before moving to a Team Lead for
Presales or a Global Sales role.
Short Term Travel to USA, Europe for specific assignments and Deal related work.
• MBA/PGDM with UG in B.E/B.Tech, with minimum 60% in 10th, 12th standard, UG and PG.
• Relevant exposure/work experience would be an added advantage.
Skillset Required
• A “can do” Positive attitude with Ownership
• A Strong communicator with an ability to build relationships with various stakeholders
• Understanding of IT / Engineering Outsourcing and Offshore Development Centre concept
• Has a knack for Business and financial modelling
• Good Understanding of Lifesciences/ Medical Device industry
• Strong written, verbal communication skills
• Excellent at PowerPoint presentations and Excel Spreadsheets
• Entrepreneurial in nature, attitude to continuously learn, thrive in an emerging industry, willing to take
initiative, self-driven to achieve goals in a start-up environment
• Work experience in MNC/Indian Healthcare, Pharmaceutical Companies, Start-ups, Hospitals
