Role Description: Delivery Specialist

Delivery Specialist ensures successful delivery for an agile pod team across the delivery cycle. They
are obliged to understand the client’s business domain, work with stakeholders to collect, define
and prioritize business requirements. They work with technical leaders to understand feasibility,
sizing & estimates, and break down the requirements into iterative user stories ready for
implementation. They keep a track of the project, sprint plan, roadmap, and ensure that the team
is on the path to meet the deadlines and when necessary, collaborate to figure out creative
solutions to ensure deliverables can be on time and if not minimize the impact of slippage.

Delivery specialists are fit for people who take initiatives, are solution oriented, can work with
uncertainty and bring clarity where there is none. They love working with people, helping,
mentoring, guiding them and execute via influence much more than authority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary point of contact for communication from and to business stakeholders

• Develop and assist the team with Industry, Domain & Product Knowledge - translating
business requirements into features and user stories
• Closely collaborate with sprint team and technical leaders on user stories feasibility, sizing,
estimation, prioritization & planning
• Work with senior managers to establish processes and execute high quality agile delivery
• Assist senior managers with demos & presentations for requirement workshops,
knowledge workshops, research, project governance and review etc.
• Responsible for Product/Solution Backlog management and grooming
• Guide, help, mentor agile teams to solve for successful delivery for Fortune 500 enterprises
• Tracking progress, change requests and reporting on velocity for sprint and longer-term
project milestones

Desirables:

• Demonstrate good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle

• Knowledge of product management tools (JIRA and Draw.io) and MS Office
• Having design bent and ability to collaborate with the design team for first level
wireframes and customer journey mapping
• Possess awareness of new and emerging technologies
• Candidates with IT/CS engineering degrees and/or IT (Information Technology) work
experience are preferred
