t’s been a while since our last issue so a lot to catch up on. The industry
we’re working in is ever evolving, and if you don’t look ahead, you’re going to
be left behind. Hopefully we can help you navigate some of those channels
and look at what not only will make us all better revenue, but keeping our
supporters and fans happy while we all work in a safe, happy and progressive
environment.

With the holidays coming up we’re always extremely aware that for some of our

times especially for those who are separated or alienated from family. We’d

Kelly Quell with her partner Xena Kitty have been producing some of the hard-
est, nastiest and horniest hardcore content I’ve seen in trans porn. As well as
selling it across the clip sites, we also license it to use on T.porn.

I wanted to know more about her - and perhaps seek some lessons for others
planning to produce their own scenes.
SG : Tell me about yourself - where you
come from? Your journey into porn?
KQ : My background is in music production,
culinary arts and the business side of the hos-
pitality industry.
I studied audio and video production in high
school and in community college before
transferring to Johnson & Wales University to
pursue a degree in Culinary Arts and Busi-
ness. I worked as a line cook, kitchen manag-
er and I was an executive chef for a bit before
being recruited by the food supplier I had at
the time.
One of the biggest parts of my sales rep job
was scouting out new prospects/potential cli-
ents that would be a good fit for me – and, of
course, make my company money. I still use
these skills from that sales rep job every day,
but what I am looking out for has definitely
changed (now, I am constantly scouting out
new models to work with that I think would
be a good fit).
I got hired as Director of Operations for my

old restaurant since they were expanding
rapidly. My work here really gave me a huge
new set of skills that I carry with me to porn:
working towards large goals, working from
home without being constantly distract-
ed, setting up meetings, managing project
schedules, setting and meeting deadlines,
marketing, graphic design, financial reporting
..... The list goes on and on.
Let me add that I was only 21 years old at the
time, and was freshly married. So, as a lot of
folks can relate to - all this super-high pres-
sure and being over-worked really screwed up
my new marriage.
At 25 years old I was totally burnt out and I
didn’t want to be married anymore. So I left
my wife, left my job and started transitioning.
As soon as I started to become hot enough, I
realized I could make money by being na-

early 20’s. So as you can imagine, a young

her new body – well, camming and porn was
greatly validating and comforting. I made a
Twitter account, started getting a following, I
became a little addicted to the attention (in a
good way).
My positive love of the attention kept me
motivated and driven.
SG: When and why did you start producing
your own porn?
KQ : January 2015 to June 2015 was when I was
camming. For a while, did

webcam videos or videos on my iPhone.
Around that time I became close friends with

It was super punk rock looking and super raw
- I then edited it with iMovie on my old mac-
book. Looking back on it, I would say it didn’t
look great, but it surprisingly still sells. It was
actually pretty good for a first time producing
anything.
I truly enjoyed creating the content and get-
ting my ideas to come alive as much as the
sex part of the porn work. Plus, the positive
feedback from new fans really gave me moti-
vation to keep going. This was important for
my overall mental health, something I think
we all have to keep an eye on, because this
positivity helped with my gender dysphoria
and body issues. I felt alive, sexy, and beau-

I order all the outfits, and write each scene’s
shot list/storyboard, edit it - and then send
the performer the files as final edits with their
own watermarks. I also send them trailers
for each scene as well, to make their lives
easier and speed up their ability to get it up
and selling. One scene is given to the oth-
er model to keep to sell, where I have no
selling rights to. Another scene is for me to
keep where only I can sell, and three scenes
where we both equally own selling rights to.

It’s all part of a formula that works for me –
from what types of scenes work, and how the
rights are shared.
SG: Do you discuss the scene before shoot-
ing with the other performer, or do you let
things happen. How do you do consent for
the scene?
KQ : Yes, absolutely get consent – that’s the
most important thing.
I like to find out from my scene partners what
they are into ahead of time, before I start
planning the scenes. I like to make the scenes
fun – and by talking it out, it’s easier to find
something that will work for everyone and
feel more natural and hot on camera. I would
never ever make a performer do something
they weren’t 100% fully into and didn’t en-
joy – we all have seen those scenes and they
are painful to watch. And not the fun kind of
painful to watch. That is why I always make
sure these scenes have chemistry.
SG: What’s your favorite scene so far?
KQ : Every single scene is my favorite, pe-
riod. I say this not to be cliché – I say it be-
cause you have to give each scene the same
amount of energy, planning and love if you
want to make a stellar final product. Now all
that being said, looking back at my collection
of scenes in the last couple of years, I’d say
my double anal gangbang scene was one of
my favorites. That scene became a bunch of
firsts for me.
That was the first time in my life I had has sex

that I put into producing all of my scenes.
While it is starting to pay off better now, it
has taken a very long time to get to where I
am. One of the things that is making me feel
better these days is the fact that I’m being
interviewed about my work. More than being
a huge milestone for me, getting interviews
makes the work worth it. Also, being nom-
inated last year for “Best Self-Producer” at
the 2019 TEA’s was the first time I really was
ever recognized for the hard work I’ve been
putting in over the last couple years. I want to
keep moving forward with my vision and so
that it pays off and I can continue to do what I
love doing – which is making hardcore porn.
SG: What do you want to do more of and
what is the fantasy you want to film?
KQ: I want to push the envelope further and
further and keep raising the bar for my con-
tent. I look up to LegalPorno and Evil Angel’s

Becoming a Full-Time
Web Cam Model

ey there, for those of you that do not know me, I
am Casey Kisses, a full-time web cam model, porn
performer, and content producer. When I first start-
ed my career as a web cam model, like most oth-
ers, I was unaware of most aspects of being a top
performer. At first glance, I thought it might have been my
looks, my smaller breasts, or my lack of a fan base that kept
me from being a top performer. It was none of these that kept
me back, I assure you. Unlike many other full-time careers,
there is no schooling, no manual, nor any instructions that will
teach you how to master the craft.

So today I will share with you 3 tips on how I became a top

performer, in hopes of helping others on their career path of
becoming a full-time web cam model.

1. Pick your site and stick with it.
There are many different websites, that
offer many different types of payouts
and benefits-it is up to you to decide
which one works best for you. For me,
I wanted to learn them all. Some sites
offer different payout percentages, some
offer competitions with incentive to win
bonuses, and some offer better affiliate
codes which will, in turn, help you make
money overnight. There are also differ-
ent avenues on how to make money on
each site. For example on one of the
sites I work, you start out fully clothed
(bra & panties) and once someone takes
you private you are being paid per min-
ute, often bringing multiple clients pri-
vate, multiplying your “paid per minute”
income. Another site I work offers you to
create your own show, by which I mean
they give you different apps and bots to
structure your show in a way it works for
you. In this way, you may not be getting
paid for every viewer, but you are maxi-
mizing your exposure. This is where it is
up to you, to see which site works best
and determine what your future goals
are. Like I said previously, if I have the
time I will work both. Maximizing my po-
tential income and giving me the ability
to always have a solid fan base in case
something happens to the other site.
The most important tip I can give you
here is to always stick with it, even if it is
not easy-do not get discouraged. It took
me forever to get where I am at, and de-
termination is key.

 2. Know your hardware.
I can not stress this tip enough. Yes,
you can make a ton of money off a
cheap laptop, no mic, no external
camera, and not knowing much about
the available technology, but most of
the top performers and rooms you see
online are running high end equipment
and knowing their tools. If you are
starting out like I did you are most like-
ly camming off a $300-400 laptop and
maybe a c9-whatever basic camera.
This is a good start.

Your next step is to upgrade your

equipment. I didn’t know much about
technology when I first started but I
knew I needed better equipment, so
I started looking around. Watch vid-
eos on streaming equipment. It is so
important for your fans to clearly see
every inch of you, so make sure you are
saving up for that high-end webcam
and know you are most likely going to
need a laptop that will be able to han-
dle it. I am currently using a webcam
which has the ability to stream in 4K
along with the proper laptop which has
a processor that is capable of stream-
ing a 4K image. I also have an exter-
nal microphone, wireless mouse and
keyboard, a usb splitter and at least 3
point lighting at all times. To be able
to stream that high-end picture you are
now able to produce will bring me to
my next tip.

3. Know your software.

Ok, so we briefly went over the sites and hardware and you are
probably thinking to yourself that this is a lot of information to
take in. So write it down. Screenshot it if you have to. In my opin-
ion, this is what is going to advance your career and help get you
to be the top room. Knowing your tools is key in any field you are
working and this is a full time job. When I go on I make sure I have
my schedule laid out, that I spend 2-3 hours doing my hair and
makeup and that I take this very seriously. This is not easy money
as so many others will think. You are your own boss, you are your
technician, you are a brand and you need to act like it. Do not
drink alcohol, smoke or solicit off-site shows or meet ups this will
cost you your job. Now that I’m done being overly motherly, let’s
go on to software. Software is just as important as hardware and
there are many external encoders that will allow you to stream
your now high end video and audio on to the site of your choos-
ing. It is very important to go online and watch videos on how to
use them. Learn about latency, bitrate and FPS. These are the 3
main ingredients on how to have a successful show. Hardwiring
is also important, it is way better than WiFi especially if you have
a smart house. Bluetooth devices can disrupt a WiFi signal and
sometimes older houses have led based paint which will ultimate-
ly give you an unstable connection interrupting your show. If you
do not know about the specific software it’s so important not to
give up and ask questions. Watch informative videos and keep
pushing for a better stream. 9 times out of 10 the top broadcast-
ers are utilizing their hard and software. Keep that in mind.
