Opener: Review from Last Week (10 minutes)

 Since this week’s content is closely related to last week’s, we’re going to start off with a brief
review of last week’s workshop content.

Activity #1: Venn Diagram (15 minutes)

 As a class, we’re going to review some of the major similarities and differences between Job
Order Costing and Activity Based Costing.
 We will use a google Jam Board to fill in the diagram, but you can record answers below if you
wish.

Job Order Costing Both Activity Based Costing

Activity #2: Explain It Like I’m 7 (20 minutes)

 Students will be broken into groups and assigned a topic from the lecture, and
will be asked to prepare a presentation on that topic. However, you must pretend that the
audience has no understanding or knowledge of the topic when presenting.

 Using what you have learned in the previous two activities, you will work in pairs to solve the
