HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Sisters,
Hoping you all had a joyous, fun-filled holiday/Christmas season; and wishing all of you a very happy,
healthy, and prosperous new year! Hope you also got a chance to relax a little bit.
I want to thank all for your generosity this holiday season. Joyce loaded many, many, many bags of gifts
in her car for the families we adopted. Those in attendance at our Holiday Dinner generously donated
$235 to purchase Shop Rite cards to be given to those in need. Wow! What a spirit of giving!
Our first meeting of 2023 is fast upon us, so mark your calendar. It will be on Wednesday, January 18th at
6:30PM at Cranberry Hall. I will set up a Zoom for those who cannot attend. The Zoom info will be sent
out closer to the meeting date.
There will be a guest speaker at the meeting from my president’s project pick: The Unforgotten Haven.
Michele Gambone, the director will be there to tell us of the wonderful things they do all day, every day
for those in need. They are a nonprofit organization whose mission statement is: “the wind beneath the
winds of all living things.” Check them out at www.theunforgottenhaven.org.
I still have not had any volunteers for the Teacher Grant program we would like to get started this. Please
think about working on this committee. I just hate to be a president whose members are “volun-told” to be
on a committee!
