The vessel to be built an ocean going product oil & chemical (IMO II) tanker with
transom stern, bulbous bow, flush Decker with forecastle, open water type stern
frame, single rudder and single screw propeller driven by a slow speed diesel
engine.

B. HULL CONSTRUCTION

1. General
All structural Arrangement and scantlings to be designed in accordance with the
applicable rules & builders standard.

2. Material
In general, the structural members to be of approved mild steel by the
Classification Society. All frames, beams and stiffeners used for hull
construction to be of rolled section, flat bar and built-up section.

3. Bottom & Side
Double bottom under the cargo tanks , slop tanks and recovery tank to be built
with longitudinal framing supported by solid floors fitted at moderate space.
The ship side throughout cargo tanks, slop tanks and recovery tank to be double
skinned with longitudinal framing.

4. Bulkheads
The transverse bulkheads to be of vertically corrugated type with lower and
upper stools within the cargo tanks, slop tanks and recovery tank area and to be
of the flat plate type with stiffeners within the water ballast tanks area.
The collision bulkhead, engine room front bulkhead and the aft peak bulkhead to
be of plane type.

5. Bulbous Bow
A cylindrical bulbous bow, transversely framed to be arranged as shown on the
General Arrangement Plan.

6. Deck House
A five (5) tier deckhouse including wheelhouse to be provided on deck aft.
Exterior boundary walls to be of plane construction with vertical stiffeners.
The decks to be transversely stiffened.

C. MATERIAL PROTECTION

1. General
The hull structural steel of 6.0 mm thickness and above to be shot-blasted to
SIS S.A. 2,5 and immediately coated with one (1) coat of 15 microns inorganic
zinc silicate type shop primer.
Colors of finish for hull to be in accordance with the Owner’s color scheme.
