Our first practice lab

Having laboratory practices is very important for learning because it M-O-T-I-V-A-T-E-S the student to
investigate, to enter the laboratory we must always take into account some security measures:

• Safety glasses

• antifluid gown

• nitrile gloves
• face mask

• hair tied

• Shoes closed

• No short skirts or short shorts should be worn

Why should we take these precautions?

In a laboratory there are multiple threats that we must take into account, such as the handling of
chemical products that can irreversibly damage our eyes, we have to protect from radiation or electrical
sparks.

In the first week of laboratory practice we learned about safety measures in the laboratory and also the
identification of different types of materials and objects with which we will be working the following
week.
