COURSE OUTLINE
Module 1: Clinical Diagnosis of HIV /AIDS in an HIV/AIDS
endemic setting.
Module 2: Clinical diagnosis of opportunistic infections of
HIV/AIDS in an HIV/AIDS endemic setting.
Module 3: Clinical laboratory diagnosis of sexually
transmitted infections (STIs) in an HIV/AIDS endemic
setting.
Module 4: Clinical Management of HIV/AIDS patients for
Doctors using antiretroviral drugs in an HIV/AIDS endemic
setting.
Module 5: Clinical Laboratory diagnosis of Tuberculosis,
Multidrug (MDR) and Extensive Drug Resistant (XDR)
Tuberculosis (TB) in an HIV/AIDS endemic setting.
Module 6: Clinical Management of Tuberculosis patients for
Doctors in an HIV/AIDS endemic setting .
Module 7: Establishment of Tuberculosis Genomics
Reference Laboratory.
Module 8: Establishment of an HIV/AIDS Reference
Laboratory.

Certificate will be issued to all course participants.
