A GRID OF 9M BY 9M HAS BEEN LAID ON THE SITE. THIS TYPE GRID HELPS IN DEFINING
ROAD WIDTHS AS WELL AS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO BUILDING BLOCKS. BASED ON
THIS GRID, THE AREA ANALYSIS HAS BEEN DONE IN THE FOLLOWING SLIDES.

GRID 1 CONTAINS COMMERCIAL, COMMUNITY AND ORGANIZATIONS. THESE LANDUSE DEFINE


THE PUBLIC FOOTFALL INTO THE SITE AND ARE PLACED FOR HIGHER YIELD. THE BLOCKS/ AREA
FOR COMMERCIAL ARE DIVIDED IN 2 EQUAL HALVES BASED ON THE FOOTFALL. AS WE
GRADUALLY MOVE FORWAD, THE ZONES HAVE RESTRICTED FOOTFALL. THE COMMERCIAL
BLOCK IS AN EQUAL HALF WHICH AS A TRANSITION ZONE

RESIDENTIAL BLOCK AND
CATERING TO THE
RESIDENTS A COMMUNITY
BLOCK. WITHOUT MIXNING
PUBLIC AND RESIDENTS,
THE COMMUNITY AND
BLOCK HAS BEEN DIVIDED
INTO 2 EQUA HALVES. ONE
HALF IS IN GRID 1 FOR
PUBLIC USE AND THE
OTHER HALF (AS SEEN IN
THIS GRID) IS FOR THE
RESIDENTS.
