1. An introvert is a person with qualities of a personality type known as Introversion,


which means that they feel more comfortable focusing on their inner thoughts and
ideas, rather than what’s happening externally. While the Extrovert is a person
whose personality is characterized by extroversion : a typically gregarious and
unreserved person who enjoys and seeks out social interaction.

2. Extroversion and introversion refer to where someone gets their energy from. The
difference between an extrovert and an introvert is extroverts are energized through
socialization and collaboration, whereas introverts receive energy from alone time or
in social settings with much smaller groups.

3. You will also vary in your introversion or extroversion depending on the situation
or your relative strengths. Introversion and shyness can often be confused with each
other by introverts. Poor or underdeveloped social skills can be improved to make
you more capable and comfortable. As an introvert, you can stretch yourself into
more extroverted behaviour to achieve your goals or improve your skills.

III. Conclusion

Finally, you will now be able to identify the difference between these two
personality types as they are just opposite. While introvert avoids social gatherings
and love being alone, extroverts feel pleasure in taking part in social activities, and
easily prone to boredom when isolated. Further, the introverts are silent and listen
more but extrovert speaks more and enjoys being in the limelight.
