1. How can people contribute to the DRRM efforts of the country?

People can be more open about how to adequately protect their families and loved
ones and understand how to seek help if their community is affected if they are involved
in disaster preparedness and recovery efforts. They may assist communities in mapping
their risk and protective factors or hold leadership positions within programs. People can
also help by spreading the word about disaster preparedness, becoming role models by
sharing information learned in youth preparedness programs and assisting parents and
communities in disaster preparation, such as by developing a disaster plan or disaster
preparation kit. Finally, people can contribute by contributing their creativity and
resourceful ideas for disaster preparedness.

2. How can the government and the individual plan for a disaster?
The government ensures that the military, police, and other emergency personnel are
deployed in large numbers in areas prone to natural disasters. It is critical to maintain law
and order in order to reduce people's problems. Furthermore, the government and
individuals collaborate to make every effort in the government-prepared training,
education, and resources. One of the government's plans is to create and disseminate
educational materials that provide citizens with tips and best practices for protecting their
personal homes, as they must prepare on an individual and collective level for the
possibility of a local disaster. In the event of an emergency, citizens should know how to
turn off home utilities such as gas, electricity, and water. Inform people about nearby
warm and cool shelters, and include a map or list of such facilities on your local
government website for easy access.
