Stain of urbanization

I travelled across India and Bangladesh for the last 5 years. From the small town where I
lived near Kolkata through Padma River till the city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Throughout the
plains of India and Bangladesh the construction and reconstruction of the nature spoils the
human life in many ways.

The concrete life of urbanization seems to have an impact on the daily life of the so-called
middle-class people in a hard way. The price hike and the shopping mall structure collapse
the market of the middle-class people and they started rolling towards the metropolitans in
search for better life. This resulted in a group of uprooted population.

Throughout the countryside most of the urbanization has been messy. The urbanization drags
south Asian countries in a race to transform their economy to join the rank of Reacher
nations.
At least 130 million South Asian live in informal urban settlements characterized by poor
construction, insecure tenure and underserviced plots.

Through this series of images, I tried to question the so-called development which forced to
brush off our roots.
