PIHSS “Green School” Initiative

PIHSS Innovation & Creativity Club’s Ecoholic team is taking an

opportunity to announce PIHSS ‘’Green School’’ Initiative for the
academic year 2022-23.
As a part of this initiative 4 competitions are going to organized.
Students of all grades (1 to 12) can participate in these
competitions.
Participants can register/show their interest in these

Details of the competitions are as follows:
Competition No.1  : Recycling Bin decoration Contest
Using recyclable material design and decorate a recycling bin and
display a suitable short message, slogan or recycling icon on it. The
main purpose of this contest is to create awareness to recycle
plastic bottles and batteries and be an eco-warrior etc.
Competition No.2 : Create from the waste
Using recyclable and reusable materials like paper, news-papers,
magazine, shoe boxes, plastic bottles, jam jars, cartons etc. to
create a useful product. The purpose of this competition is to
inculcate the culture of reuse the materials which are thrown
otherwise.
Competition No. 3: Poster making to safe electricity
Create a poster on A4 size paper /chart paper to convey a message
to safe electricity in school and home. Use your creative and
innovative skills to make the poster. You can use any medium like
poster colours, colour pencils, oil paints or crayons to design your
poster. The purpose of this competition is creating awareness to
safe natural resources of the earth.
Competition No. 4: Poster making to save water
Create a poster on A4 size paper/chart paper to convey a message
to safe water in school and home. You can use any medium like
poster colours, colour pencils, oil paints or crayons to design your
poster. The purpose of this competition is also creating awareness
to safe natural resources of the earth.
Important Notes:
 1-Last date to submit your bin, piece of art or poster is 11-01-2023.
2-An exhibition will be held in 3rd week of January,2023 and judges
will select the winners.
3-Winners of all the competitions will be awarded with certificates
of appreciation.
4- Participants try to complete their tasks related to above
competitions during the winter holidays so that academics remain
unaffected.
