Subject: Clarification for PV Module’s Manufacturing

We, Canadian Solar South East Asis Pte. Ltd., would like to support the Energy Dynamics Co. Ltd.,
(customer) for the solar PV rooftop projects in Thailand. We hereby confirm that, to the best of our
knowledge and subject to written purchase agreements to be agreed in future by both parties, the
polysilicon materials (solar-grade silicon) which are further processed into ingots, wafers, cells and
eventually solar modules which we will supply under our contract with you, will be sourced from:
• Sichuan province, China
• Shanxi province, China
• Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China
• Germany
Our panel manufacturing facilities (Hiku7L-MS) shall be from following factories:
• CSI Modules (DaFeng) Co., Ltd.
• Canadian Solar Sunenergy (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd.
• Canadian Solar Sunenergy (Suqian) Co., Ltd.

CSI also conducts its activities in a manner that respects human rights as set out in the UN Guiding
Principles on Business and Human Rights, the fundamental International Labor Organization
Conventions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as the applicable laws regarding
labor rights and fair working conditions, forced or child labor.
