3. Intern-ship description
Week 1: - I get to know and try to accustom to the environment and get to know with
our co-worker. we are working three times a week. The company is mainly opened
for the purpose of keeping vehicles and machines long life and also giving
maintenance and repair.
There are many shops in this company. Those are:-
Engine shop
Machine shop
Body shop
Welding shop
Electrical service shop
Tire shop
4. Tools used in the company
Wrenches,
Sockets and Ratchets,
screw drivers,
combination and box
hammers, chisel
Week 2: - I have started to working in mechanical work shop and I tried to see some
of them, for example
1. Types of battery by voltage: - I have thought the difference between 12 voltage
and 24 voltage; that 24V is used on trucks as the starter needs enough power for the
big diesels; approximately 1000A. If that was at 12V then it's double the current
which means thicker cables. and for a small car 12V is usually the standard.
2. Gear box: - The purpose of a gearbox is to increase or reduce speed. As a result,
torque output will be the inverse of the speed function.
3. Radiator : -The radiator is Grand Central Station for an engine’s cooling system:
The mixture of antifreeze and water that cools the engine continually passes through
the radiator, where it discharges some of the heat it picked up from the engine and
takes in cooler air before circulating again through passages around the engine.

5. Overview of intern-ship
Compare and contrast the theoretical knowledge and the practical work.
I particularly found direct interactions with these company to be useful in improving
my practical skills. Although I found group sessions to be challenging, I believe they
were valuable in developing my confidence as a mechanical student.
Learning punctuality, honesty, and common good.
