Nokia Flexi RRH 2-pipe 450MHz 80W is a one of a kind offering, part of the SingleRAN
Advanced product family, that enables 450MHz spectrum usage for LTE while ensuring
superior user experience and affordable wide LTE coverage for areas such as IoT, M2M
and Health / Public Safety services.
Because of its small size, the deployment options open up greatly. Costs are significantly
reduced as it doesn’t require specific indoor and cabinet sites. The site footprint is
smaller (Zero footprint, no cabinet or cooling needed), making it easier to deploy
wherever needed with lower cost site acquisition, construction, rental and electricity
consumption. Up to 90% less LTE base station sites are needed in comparison to
LTE 1800MHz band. Therefore, indoor and rural coverage become affordable and IoT
ready. Also, global roaming, latency requirements for IoT and cost efficient mobility
for dispersed population (which is not possible with CDMA 450MHz 80W), become a
reality with LTE 450MHz 80W.

1. Product Overview:
CDMA technology does not fully exploit the benefits of 450MHz band. Now, thanks to
Flexi RRH 2-pipe 450MHz 80W, it’s possible to repurpose band allocations and to become
real wide LTE coverage, IoT supportive band. Not only would this deliver a ten-fold
(20-fold with carrier aggregation) increase in throughput for subscribers, but the
switch to LTE opens up all the benefits of global roaming.
More than that, the Flexi RRH 2-pipe 450MHz 80W significantly improves end user service
quality for both rural areas (outdoor coverage) and hot spots (indoor coverage).Thanks
to its enhanced latency 10ms vs. >50ms, FDD-LTE 450MHz, it (band 31) provides
lower cost coverage and market leading performance while
offloading the 1800MHz LTE band.

The Flexi RRH 2-pipe 450MHz 80W is optimized for single sector
deployment 2TX MIMO. It provides 80 W output power per
sector at the module antenna connectors and 5MHz of
Instantaneous bandwidth. It supports LTE deployments starting
from 1.4MHz carrier bandwidth with only 15 liters / 15 kg per
sector, IP65-certified outdoor unit. While offering the leanest
site solution with up to 90% less base stations, it ensures the
most efficient spectrum usage and offloading with the 1800
LTE band. Alongside the with unique Flexi Multiradio 10 System
Module, this lean, and IoT ready Base Station can be installed to
places previously not possible with cabinet based solutions by
other vendors.
