Conclusion

Motorola's failure isn't just because of one thing; it's because of a number of bad business
decisions and the way market nature works. Changes at Motorola will help turn it from a failing
company into one that does well. We hope that Motorola successfully adopts the change
management and implements/communicates the change through restructuring: by properly
reengineering their process on both their products and their marketing to stay competitive in the
mobile device market.

Anyway, Motorola has struggled in many ways over the years, but their primary areas were in
management planning, the employee’s perception and organizational culture, and the
communication within the company. If they improve the management process and create a plan
that opens communication within Motorola the company will be able to succeed in developing
and making new successful products that will help them achieve their mission and vision.

Implementing and communicating the changes through training, workshops, will allow Motorola
to effectively explain the changes that are to occur and allow them to be utilized successfully.
Employees are what make a company run, and changing the motivating structure to fulfill
additional employee demands, such as social needs, would increase employee satisfaction and
performance.

We recommended that the new transformation will actually allow Motorola to stand another
chance for their product differentiation and market differentiation instead of competing in price
and cost. Motorola needs to understand the globalization happening around which is to
understand what is the needs and demands instead of working in research and development but
not knowing the market demand. Creating a specific uniqueness of Motorola Phone or Brand are
the keywords for Motorola to enter the mobile device market. For reasons like faster internet
speed, more apps, more mobile functions.

Ex: Google Pixel: camera quality, Iphone: Premium Product, Best Quality, Sumsung: Software,
Camera, etc… How about Motorola?
