Here's an astrological perspective on the chart.

1) Father was a reputed lawyer and quite rich.
In the Rasi chart Moon and exalted Mars are placed in the 9th house, 9th lord Saturn is placed
in the 2nd house indicating he (father) was a self made man, committed to his family. Mars is
usually associated with professions involving logic, reasoning (Tarka), law etc.,
In the Dwadasamsa D12 - 9th house has exalted Mercury and deb Venus. Indicating a high
status of the father again. Using Virgo as ascendant - Jupiter in the 10th house indicates he
was involved in some noble profession - good honest livelihood. Saturn in the 11th indicating
gains from helping people who are sad or depressed or middle class hard working people.
Mars in the 2nd house indicates he (father) spoke very logically and may be somewhat
aggressively - good for a lawyer.

In Rasi chart 4th lord Sun is inimically placed in the 8th with a maraka planet Mercury highly
afflicted by Rahu. Sun is quite blemished.
Moon as the karaka is placed with exalted Mars and hemmed between Sun,Merc,Rahu and
Saturn and receives no benefic aspect.
The fourth house also receives malefic aspects from Sat, Mars and Rahu.

Using Pisces as the lagna,

The above mentioned trines/opposite rule applies for children as well
The second child is from Virgo, lord Mercury placed in Taurus (feminine)
The third child is from Cancer, lord Moon placed in Scorpio (feminine)

The next sign has Rahu and Saturn in it - indicating end of line.
Does the Lagna lord in 6th apply in general or only when the Lagna lord also owns a
dusthana ?
For instance, what would happen if :
1) Mercury in 6th house for a Virgo Lagna?
2) Jupiter in 6th house for a Pisces lagna?
This rule applies only when the lagna lord owns a Dusthana house as well.
Specifically this would apply for Aries, Taurus,Libra,Scorpio and Aquarius ascendants
Not for the ones you mentioned.
A Benefic in the 6th like you have mentioned would give a softer more forgiving native in
terms of dealing with the competition/enemy/rivals etc., May cost him materially - may give

Notice the 9th house has two planets Mars and Sun, Mars is again indicative of again law
related guidance.
Sun in the 9th indicates some guidance/fortune in his career from father.

began to dwindle, household finances began to shrink and pretty soon were hand to mouth.
Now this can be attributed to the malefics lining along 2/8 axis from the lagna. very

Saturn is placed in the 12th from AL - indicating hard losses, heavy expenditure during

Some key observations

focus, applied intelligence becomes his enemy. When the lagna lord also owns a dusthana
house; being placed in a dusthana house - the lord now begins to function like more like a
dusthana lord. Very much evident here.
2) Karaka placement in 12th in Varga chart.
Mercury placed in 12th in Dasamsa
Mars placed in 12th in Chaturthamsa - the native has no home.
Venus placed in 9th in Navamsa - the native's marital life is totally finished.
3) Venus is also the atmakaraka in Anantamsa - the soul wants to be service associated with
