July 2019 Kashikoto Conservancy Ltd (Logistics Officer)
Short term contract to ensure timely conclusion of project. Managed imports, clearing and
monitored local purchases when necessary. This was a short term contract which ended
successfully mid July.

June 2018 to
May 2019 Maz Coop Ltd (Admin & Accounts Manager)
Responsible for all purchasing and stock management and overseeing of finances with daily and
monthly reports to Directors.

August 2015 to
Feb 2018 Pre Secure Ltd. (Finance Manager)
Responsible for all financial matters including overseeing accounts department, payroll and stores.
Supervision of annual audit including timing, completion and final accounts. Preparation of monthly
financial reports to Directors.
Monitored HR matters including negotiation of Union agreement for workforce of over 800 guards.

May 2015 to
July 2015 Ngwazi Air Charters Ltd
A 3 month contract where I setup accounting system, documented procedures and routines and
put limited controls in place. Also input data and brought accounts up to date for monthly reporting
to Directors(period Jan – June ’15).

Sept 2013 to
Jan 2015: Customized Clearing & Forwarding Ltd: (Manager – Finance)
Responsible for all financial matters of the company with a department staff compliment 19
staff(Lusaka-11, Kitwe-6 + Ndola-2). Duties include, dealing with bankers, auditors and monitoring
of client accounts, monthly financial reports to deadlines. A section within the accounts
department is also responsible for daily payments for Customs entries with an average of over 80
entries a day. Liaised with Customs Division of ZRA where necessary to ensure prompt
processing of duty payments
Oversaw the migration of the accounts system from Accpac to Pastel.

May 2011 -
Aug 2013: Rainbow Investments Ltd: (General Manager – Finance and Administration)
Responsible for all financial, administrative and staffing procedures and matters. This cross border
transport company is part of a group with access to over 300 rigs of which Rainbow manages over
110 units.

Mar 2003 -
April 2011: Trentyre Zambia: Lusaka (H.O.) – Orion Administrator.
Responsible for data integrity on Orion(accounts). Network supervisor for HO and Branch
network (3 Servers and 18 computers). Sole approval rights for stocks input.
Kitwe Branch – Stock Controller \ Administration(Feb 07 – Sept 08).
Responsible for monitoring of stock received by Branch from Distribution in Lusaka and issued to
mines locations(MCM and KCM) as well as to Solwezi Branch. Maintaining of data integrity on

Documented all operational and administrative procedures for Branch operations.
Returned to Lusaka in September 08 to take over the procurement and logistics routines at the
Head Office. This included:
Sourcing of all product required for the operations at various locations including mines,
agricultural, transport(commercial and passenger) and branch outlets. Sourcing alternative product
if required. Chasing up and tracking orders up to receipt into Trentyre warehouse.
Dispatch of stock to all locations against “inhouse” orders.
Liaising with branches \ clients on product requirements for future orders.

June 2000 -
Feb 2003: Voyagers Group of Companies(Travel and car hire Companies): (Accountant)
Preparation of monthly accounts, reconciliation of fortnightly airline payments, bank
reconciliations, sales analysis, annual accounts and liaising with auditors, payroll(84 staff for 2
companies). Recommended upgrading of the accounting system for multi-currency accounting
within the travel industry along with formalising internal controls and systems for efficient flow of
information relating to cashflow control and business projections.

Mar 1995 -
May 2000: Saff Consultancy Services Ltd.(Accounting services company): Manager.
Performing financial/accounting services for small businesses including, preparation of payrolls,
VAT returns, annual accounts and tax returns, submissions to ZRA and dealing with ZRA
regarding clients tax and VAT matters.
List of clients included: Reunion Mining(Dunrobin Gold mine, Mumbwa), JCI (mining exploration),
Kafue Fisheries Ltd(fish, pig and game farm), Makeni Roses Ltd(rose exports).

Oct 1994 –
Dec 1995 Walford Meadows Ltd (clearing & forwarding company): Accountant.
Re-located accounts dept from Ndola to Lusaka including staff training and system integration.

Nov 1984 –
Sept. 1994: Union Air Transport(Customs clearing & forwarding company): Accountant
Preparation of monthly accounts and reports to Head Office in S.A., payroll, returns to ZRA.
Computerisation of accounts, setting up new internal accounting controls and review of operations
systems and updating of same.

Feb 1981 –
Oct. 1984: Deloitte & Touche(formally Deloitte, Haskins & Sells), Ndola and Lusaka: Trainee Auditor.
Auditing of clients accounts including system controls and reports, preparation of small business
accounts.

Computer knowledge:

I have an extensive knowledge of computer hardware and over 30 years experience of using
computers, starting with Lotus Smartsuite and MS Office 2003/2007/2010 on the various Windows
platforms. Also conversant with current networking protocols and software integration. I have
worked on the following accounting software: Pastel, Accpac, Sage, Brilliant, Quickbooks and
Orion(Oracle based software). Attended seminars on ZRA Fiscalisation programme (2018) and
conversant with routines and procedures.

Management skills:
I have over 35 years experience of company and personal tax law(Zambia) enabling me to make
proposals for tax efficient opportunities at company and personal level along with over 20 years of
multi-currency accounting systems.
Extensive knowledge and experience of warehousing procedures and routines as well as import
and export procedures and related logistics and distribution.
I am conversant with the current labour laws and have broad experience in various industries from
agricultural to retail.
I am accustomed to working long hours(when necessary) to achieve deadlines or complete any
work that may be of an urgent nature.
I take pride in offering a high level of integrity and common sense in whatever work I perform at all
times putting the Company’s interests first.

Social activities:

Life member of Lusaka Rugby Club(represented Zambia 1986-89), Lusaka Show Society and
Lusaka & District Kennel Club, playing member of Lusaka Golf Club. Founding Life member
Lusaka South Country Club where I umpire cricket.

Personal goals:

To find a mutually rewarding and stable position with a progressive(preferably international)
