 Assessment for Learning

← It Implies that assessment is done to improve and ensure learning this is
referred to as FORmative Assesment . that is given while teacher is in the
process of student formation.(learning )

 Assessment as Learning
Srudents set their targets. Actively monitor and evaluate their own
learning in relation to their set target

 Assessment of Learning
It is usually given at the end of the unit grading period or term like
semester. It is meant to assess learning for grading purposes

3. Who are the users of educational assessment? Explain briefly.

Learners should always be involved in the assessment process from commencement to completion.
Initial assessment involves the learner by ascertaining their prior learning, current skills and
knowledge. The results can be used as a foundation on which to agree a suitable assessment plan

4. What assessment tool are you familiar and how did you use in your teaching?

Poster Presentation - A poster presentation provides a visual representation of your research through

text, charts, graphs, and other visual aids. A poster presentation allows viewers to read your research
material at their own leisure and to interact with you—perhaps asking questions about your methods or
your findings.
