Danny Park
Isaac Newton was born in England on January 4th, 1643. His father also known as Isaac
Newton died three months before he was born. So his mother remarried when Isaac Newton
was 3 years old. Isaac was attending to school but one point her mother wanted to take him
out of the school and work on farming. But he had no dreams to become a farmer. In 1661
1665 through 1667 he had to leave Cambridge College because of Great Plague. He spent
two years in Woolsthorpe house developing and improving on calculus, gravity, and the laws
of motion. In 1687 he published his most important work called ‘Philosophiae Naturalis
Principia Mathematica’. In this work, he explained the three laws of motion. He also
explained the principals of modern physics. In 1696 He became the London’s Royal Mint. He
seriously tried to get rid of corruption and in 1703 he was elected president of the royal
society. Newton died on March 31th, 1727 in London. Today he is an important role in
science and considered as one of the most influential scientists of all time.
He studied science specifically as a means of learning more about God, but he never
forgot that the best way to learn about God was by through bible study. Newton found out
many scientific discoveries. Some of the most important and famous ones are telescope. In
1668 he invented the telescope. The way of he used was he used mirrors to reflect light and
formed an image. Every major telescope used in today is the reflecting telescope. Also, his
Principia was important too. First, he laid down three laws of motions. Second, he built on
the work of Pascal and added many details to the motion. Third, he used detailed
experiments.
Newton worked hard and the reason why he studied science was about God. He was a
great scientist and he worked hard for science. He is true scientists in the world.
