It’s old It’s a keeper of secrets
And kind of And a hider of shoes
Sad looking
This is my room
This is my cricket bat
It’s battered It’s messy and chaotic
And beaten Clothes and bedding
From smashing the ball Strewn everywhere
It’s cracked in places
This is my room
This is my cricket bat
It needs replacing, it does It’s messy but it’s mine
But for me it’s I wouldn’t have it any other way
My lucky bat
