Nigerian teens are constantly

enjoying fellowshipping of God's presence due to the

increase of faith bible churches and fellowship in primary, secondary and tertiary
institutions.

One major push is the presence faith-based fellowships in every stages of learning
institution example Friday school fellowships in schools, campus fellowship in tertiary
institution, Christian corper fellowship, fellowships at work places.

Teens have closed focus with the scriptures through thorough Sunday school classes,
however teens need more reflective applicational stories of the bible of the present-day
realities. The history of bible literatures should be reference to people who applied such
principles. Example of faith, righteousness, joy, dedication of the present day so they
can relate with it well

In Nigeria, we mostly preach the gospel raw to teenagers as their heart are free from
weight of things . we don't mix it up to teens, so it can have a root in their lives

Teens need the society to frown squarely with injustice, so they can be deterred from
engaging into wrong doings. The church should continue to preach the truth

The household has never lost its place for foundational tutoring of teens, where we
know train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from
such way. Strong parental upbringing through devotions of the bible, prayers and
others, however the home has always left its responsibility after the child leaves the
home for higher lives and purposes which should not be so

// Christian household should enforce this lifestyle from young age to adulthood.

QUESTIONS:
Christianity and deep commitment to Jesus is more common among teens in Nigeria than in many other
countries, and these teens see multiple benefits from this relationship with Christ. How do you nurture or
celebrate this in your context? What steps are you taking to help teens share and carry this enthusiasm
into adulthood?

Nigerian teens in our survey describe a very holistic approach to Bible engagement, more so than many
of their peers. They reflect on and pray through scripture, process it alone and with other and take notes.
Is this true in your experience with teens? Where do teens need more help in Bible instruction?
What might church leaders or youth workers in other countries learn from some of the faithful examples
coming out of Nigeria?

How ready do you feel teens in Nigeria truly are to address injustice? What obstacles still exist? What
support do they need from the church?

Though teens in Nigeria point to the household as a strong source of Bible instruction, they do not tend
to turn to family as a trusted source to learn more about Jesus. Why do you think these sources of
spiritual instruction are flipped for teens in Nigeria? How can Christian households be better equipped to
point teens toward both Jesus and the Bible?"

Thanks.
