Introduction

Tourism is fraught with numerous ethical issues.People place a high value on

tourism because it helps them gain a better understanding of the problems
facing the world at large.Additionally, it enhances global awareness. One of a
business's most important components is advertising.Advertising is one of the
tools that organizations use to promote their products globally, and
organizations around the world spend billions of dollars annually doing so.
Advertising is a way to communicate with a specific group of people to get
them to do something new. Advertisers now have to keep up with new media,
such as advertising on websites, print media, television, radio, email, social
media, and mobile phones, thanks to the development of new technologies.

Advertising will be more effective with the assistance of these tools. This may
include comprehensive marketing platforms and analytics systems, also
known as digital advertising campaigns' "smart engines."
When advertising to children, advertisers must exercise extra caution and act
ethically at all times. One surefire way for businesses to demonstrate that they
value their customers' requirements is through ethical advertising.Counting an
ethical position inside their promoting gives customers data about what
organizations they need to help, and which ones they truly do rather keep
their cash.It can't be unfair, deceptive, or misleading advertising. There are a
few obstacles to ethical advertising that must be accurately followed:treating
customers fairly, creating ads that are truthful, not misleading, and socially
desirable, and representing products, services, or concepts that are healthy,
useful, and ethical. The issue of advertisements addresses ethical principle
rights through these obstacles. It's about entitlement or freedom.People need
to be aware of their rights when it comes to advertisements for goods and
services, such as puffery and hype, which tend to overstate the benefits of a
product in such a tactful way that consumers become psychologically
influenced by the persuasiveness of the advertisement and choose to buy the
product. When it comes to making purchases, there are responsibilities on the
part of consumers;shopper should practice their privileges, don't purchases
aimlessly, purchaser should be quality cognizant, be careful with bogus
promotion, remember to get receipt, and don't buy in hustle.Information that
people want can be easily accessed and provided by media. It is preferable to
work as a researcher to avoid situations in which money is wasted on the
wrong products.

CONCLUSION
Overall, an ethical problem or circumstance is one in which a person or
organization must choose between alternatives that must be evaluated as
either right, which is ethical, or wrong, which is unethical. As a buyer,
consistently remember that "you can never misstep the same way yet again in
light of the fact that the second time you make it, it's anything but a slip-up, it's
a decision".Learn from your first purchase to avoid making poor choices or
acting unethically. We need to be practical when choosing the right product for
advertising. Before anything else, check to see if the product you really want to
buy is worth the money. In other words, you've already tried it and tested it on
your own.We might avoid falling for misleading advertisements if we think that
way. When promoting their products, other businesses use false advertising,
also known as deception, to trick customers into believing statements about
them that are not true. These businesses will do anything to make money and
fail to provide customers with all of the information they require to make sound
decisions. So, in order to be wise, will you continue to buy without question or
learn to research first?Take it seriously until you have time to consider it
because every decision will always have consequences.

PART II
1. Research the current employment trends in the Tourism and Hospitality
industry within the Philippines.
 Work flexibility is one of the current employment trends in the Philippines.
In this pandemic, being flexible is a great trend. Companies are finding
ways to make more money even when there are no employees at the
office. At this point, you can't work if you don't work from home.Diversity in
Hiring Diversity in hiring has always been a trend, and it's not new by any
means. Human resources departments are in charge of finding employees
for the company to keep it afloat and make a profit because offices are
dangerous. They look for people who want to work from home with all the
necessary equipment. In point of fact, 78% of businesses already hold the
belief that it is beneficial to have a diverse workforce, and this upward
trend in employment is not expected to slow down anytime soon.Changes
in Workplace Cultures: Of course, a toxic workplace is not a good place to
work. A good workplace lets people work together to solve problems and
come up with creative and effective solutions to their lines of business.
This positive change helps new employees join your company without
worrying about working in a toxic environment because of the great
reputation the company has with its employees.

2. Provide an assessment of the skills and competencies required for the

current jobs available in the tourism and hospitality labor market.
 In this new era of industry employment, you must possess these
necessary skills to survive: quick thinking, flexibility to assist in other
positions, positive attitude, and professional behavior.Analytical.pertains
to the ability to use computers and mathematics because everything is
becoming increasingly technological, including bookings, reservations,
and cost analysis.Behavioral refers to customer service skills like how to
deal with different guests who have different attitudes while still
smiling.Human relations and ethics, as well as a thorough understanding
of history and culture, are necessary for providing guests with answers to
their questions, educating them, and suggesting things that will benefit
them. The ability to communicate as well as the knowledge of a variety of
languages and dialects are referred to as communication skills. As the
number of tourists from all over the world has increased in recent years, it
is essential to be able to communicate well in English if you want to work
in the hospitality and tourism industry. This knowledge also includes the
ability to write reports and fill out company forms. The ability to adapt to a
company's culture and nature is referred to as a work attitude and values
because you are the one who must adapt when working for other
companies. After all, you are being paid by them, and you are expected to
adhere to their culture. It includes adaptability and resilience to deal with
the pressures of daily life and changing customer demands.Last but not
least, there are Other Competencies, which include environmental
practices for assisting the business in becoming eco-friendly and
green.Hygiene, of course, is a big factor because they will judge you
based on how you look and smell. Seeing how clean or dirty you look can
get you the job or not. Safety, of course, is how you handle equipment
and follow rules to keep the workplace safe. Flexibility, on the other hand,
is a big factor because there are a lot of things going on at once and you
need to help keep things running smoothly. When working part-time at a
restaurant, it does not matter if you get it wrong a few times; you will
improve over time, but make sure to keep up the good behavior and the
positive attitude. I came to the conclusion that all of the mentioned skills
and competencies are crucial when working. This demonstrates how you
handle yourself at work and how flexible you are on working on different
positions than your initial intention when you got the job.
