Subject: Apology for supply of defective goods and subsequent adjustment

We have received your recent letter dated 5th July 2021 concerning the services in the
Fresh Food Sdn Bhd. Thank you for writing and giving us the opportunity to look into this
matter. First, we would like to express our deepest regret for the difficulties and
inconvenience that you have experienced.

On receipt of your complaint, we have investigated the matter and have come to learn that
several of the frozen salmon fillets were not according to the right size specifications, button
mushrooms were received instead of shiitake mushrooms and ten canned shrimps were
found dented. It was an unfortunate incident and a big mistake by our new employee who
has not done a thorough check on the products before delivery and it went unnoticed
through our process.

We have corrected your order and shipped it out this morning. We also have made sure that
the packaging was well secured this time. At Fresh Sdn Bhd, we strive to deliver the best
services and the satisfaction to our valued customers like you. Therefore we would like to
give you a RM100 voucher which can be used in any of our stores as a compensation for
your loss on the defective goods. We take full responsibility for the error and we guarantee
that such incidents will not occur in future.

Dear Ms Juliana,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I am resigning from my position as a Senior
Accounting Executive for this company, effective two weeks from today. My last working day
will be on July 25, 2021.

After much consideration I have decided to accept the job offered to me as a lecture at the
Accounting Faculty of UiTM Segamat. This is something that I have been dreaming of as I
am really passionate of sharing my knowledge and experience in educating young minds
and I feel like this is a good opportunity to further my career goals.
