Dear Miss,

I am writing first and foremost to thank you for my experiences at GSC for the last two
month. During this time, I have been taking care by all crew since the first day I step my foot
at GSC. By all the knowledge that I received, I’ve been able to be an efficient worker and
also share my knowledge with other newcomers.
Today, I am sharing the news of my difficult decision to resign from my role as part time
crew at GSC. Hence, I would like to give you seven day’s notice effective from today. My last
day will be 14 July.
The reason of my resignation is that I have decided to pursue higher studies to obtain my
diploma in education as I’ve been dreaming to entering the education world. It was a
difficult decision for me but I believe these sacrifices will surely help my progression in my
career path. Besides, I would like to thank you again for you and the team support and
guidance during my employment. By being a part time crew at GSC Setia City Mall, I already
developed my social skills to another level because I tend to be shy around new people.
I humbly request you to accept my resignation on the next steps. Please let me know if
there anything that I can do to help make this transition easier for the company.
