Veggie Quest

A2: Pearson Assessed

The Client
The client is the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Economy who has joined the World Trade
Organisation in 1996; located in Geneva, the organisation has more than 164 countries which
ensures that trades go smoothly. Intellectual property, products, and services are all covered by
WTO agreements. They outline the liberalization's guiding principles as well as its acceptable
exceptions. They include each nation's pledge to establish and maintain open services markets
as well as cut customs tariffs and other trade obstacles.

The Requirements
They are running a campaign called "Veggie Quest" to promote awareness of the benefits of
consuming less meat and adopting a diet high in plant-based proteins. This should not be
confused with veganism; the client is simply suggesting that eating plant-based food is healthy.
Not only are fruits and vegetables included on plant-based platters, but also legumes, nuts, whole
grains, as well as other foods. The client thinks embracing a plant-based diet will benefit both the
world including each and every person. The client requested the creation of an artwork that
would be utilised to advertise the campaign through the use of, sales of, and distribution of
merchandise.

The Target Audience

My primary audience would be generation Y (1981-1996) and the generation Z (1997-2012); both
genders and every ethnicity, there will be inclusion. This is because I feel as if these generations
would get the message of the merchandise effectively. These generations are also the ones that
are more active in improving their lifestyle, as well as the most influential when it comes to
making their peers go through a change. They also have the tendencies to use merchandise
more frequently, so the awareness of the campaign will spread faster. Therefore, these
generations will have a more positive outlook on the encouragement of changing into a plant-
based diet in an efficient way. My audience will also be based internationally, so the approach of
the brand is more diverse and there are more engagement.

The Initial to-do List

I will ensure to create a schedule and carefully plan out what I will get done in executive days so
that I do not juggle tasks, just like I did in the first given brief. I will be taking a look at
inspirations first hand to get ideas on how my design would look like, and create a mood board
on how I want the design to be executed. Lastly, I will be represent the brand in my own image by
introducing my own interests and characters to the client.
