Q.1 Calculate the Average (DC) and RMS value oof load current for full wave rectifier

Q. 2 Calculate the value of ripple factor and efficiency for full wave rectifier.

Q.3 In the centre-tap circuit shown in Fig. the diodes are assumed to be ideal i.e. having zero internal
resistance. Find :(i) d.c. output voltage(ii) peak inverse voltage (iii) rectification efficiency.

Q.4. A diode having internal resistance 20Ω is used for half-wave rectification. If the applied voltage
is 60 sin ω t and load resistance is 800 Ω, find :
(i) Im, Idc, Irms (ii) a.c. power input and d.c. power output (iii) d.c. output voltage (iv) efficiency of
rectification.

Q.5 A center –tap FWR has load resistance 1000Ω and diode resistance 20 Ω. The voltage across half
of the secondary winding is given by V=200Sin314t. Determine
(i) Peak value of load current (ii) DC value of current (iii) RMS value of current (iv) ripple factor
