Track Events

Track events involve running in track over a


speci ed distances and in the case of the hurdling
and steeplechase events obstacles maybe be
placed in track ,there are also relay races in which
teams of athletes run and pass on the baton to
their team member at the end of a certain
distances.

m -this consist of two circuits around
the track , requiring the athlete to
demonstrate good speed combined with
endurances.
m - also known as the metric mile ,
the m race requires athlete to run .

Marathon

The marathon is a race covering the distance of
