HIGHLIGHT – What is/are the most significant component/s of the region that gives the
most contribution to tourism industry? And Why?
The most significant component of the region that gives the most contribution to
tourism in the tourism industry is the tourist attraction. In this region, it is known
for its white beaches, cultural heritage sites dating back to the Spanish era,
marine sanctuary majestic mountains, among other the region is a favorite spot
to many local and international travelers. Some of the rare attractions in
CALABARZON are the Corregidor Island, Pagsanjan Falls and Taal Volcano and
more.

IMPROVEMENT – What is/are the component/s of the region that needs to be develop
the most to make a better contribution to tourism industry? And why?
Since CALABARZON is the second most densely populated region in the country,
principally because it is the closest region to metro manila because of its close
proximity to manila and the industrial and economic opportunities that exist
there, CALABARZON is experiencing rapid urbanization. With the influx of people
and rapid industrial growth, environmental issues such as pollution, solid waste
management, conservation, and natural resource management will increasingly
become major concerns. They need to make action for this, so that tourist will
become more interested if there is no issue about this region.

DEVELOPMENT – What specific development you can recommend to the region that will
enhance their tourism industry?
The CALABARZON region has one of the most varied landscapes in the country.
The topographical features consist of the flat coastal areas and upland interior
areas of plains, rolling hills, and mountains. Rich n biodiversity and attractive
natural environments. They need to take of their environment to keep the
beauty of their region and more tourists will visit.
