HIGHLIGHT – What is/are the most significant component/s of the region that gives the
most contribution to tourism industry? And Why?
The most significant component of the region that gives the most contribution to
tourism in the tourism industry is the tourist attraction. This 2 regions, is known
for their paradise, clear water island and falls, beaches, caves, and cultural
heritage sites dating back to the Spanish era among others the region is a
favorite spot to many local and international travelers. Some of the attractions
are the Bangui windmills in Ilocos Norte or rather the Imugan falls in Nueva
Vizcaya. Also, the Calle Crisologo is located in the provincial capital of Ilocos
wherein you can go back in time while being in the present as Calle Crisologo is a
street of preserved old Spanish structures, mostly houses of wealthy families and
Filipino-Chinese traders. This is where you’ll see the famous cobblestone streets
that represent Vigan’s image. Lastly their famous delicacies.

IMPROVEMENT – What is/are the component/s of the region that needs to be develop
the most to make a better contribution to tourism industry? And why?
In my opinion, I’m not familiar and I am even shocked that it existed in our
country especially in region 2 as they were a lot of breathtaking beaches and
caves that are not famous but deserved to be, so it could make a better
contribution in the tourism industry.

DEVELOPMENT – What specific development you can recommend to the region that will
enhance their tourism industry?
First, is the modernization of airports and seaports. As we can see in the pictures
of region 2 the seaports and the airports are somewhat outdated so
fixing that makes it a lot easier for tourists to go in and out of the places they
wanted to be as it will be less hassle for them because the airports and seaports
being fixed and modernized means that there will be fewer issues about their
flight and trips their way in and their way home making them have a pleasant
time when it comes to their trip from the beginning until the end no matter how
tiring the activities they’ll do in their trip. Second, is the attraction of region 2 in
this they are not famous unlike in region 1 they are famous in their attraction; I

will recommend that they must promote their places or advertise like using a
brochure or other materials. Lastly, the trading needs to be faster because when
you can efficiently import and export goods the development of your region can
exponentially increase, and when that happens you can expect the government
to give better funding to your region, as the region will be beneficial for the
country and so having the better funding can lead to constructions and
development of the region that benefits the tourism industry.
