Our foundation for resolving all of our life's problems is what we have learned, retained, and
improved. From then up to today, we have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to live and
survive in this world. These skills and knowledge go beyond the information we have learned in school
and from books. Some of them come from our past experiences as well as the lessons we've learned
from our parents, elders, and even ourselves.

In the course, assessment in learning 1, we learned the importance of assessing students’

learnings and how the results in the assessment will benefit the students, parents, teachers,
administrators, institutions, and government agencies. We was also taught about how to do an
assessment as well as to create one. We are educated all about assessment, and indeed it will help us in
the future as we become a teacher. However, our learning does not end here. As we make the portfolio
that given to us by our instructor, we found out that it is not easy to become a teacher. It is not easy to
teach the lesson, and it isn't easy to assess their learnings. Administering a test or assessment is not
magic that we could create questions that we like. Instead, there are a lot of things that we need to
consider. Aside from being awakened that becoming a teacher is very difficult and holds a big
responsibility, we also educated to be hardworking and that nothing is impossible as long as we put an
effort and our heart into everything we do.

Lastly, the aforementioned realization from the portfolio that we have accomplished was both
an honour and opportunity for us to be tested on the possible job that we will be doing in the future. It
is an honour to discover and realize new things that are very applicable in the future and the
opportunity to share our ideas within our team. We admit that this portfolio was very difficult and very
challenging, we can’t say that our portfolio was the best or maybe it is perfect but at least we have
made it the way it should be made with all our hearts, efforts and teamwork. Also we are so glad that
the guidance of our Almighty father always bestowed us until we finished it and we will be forever
grateful that we have experienced making this portfolio for it is just part of the steps that we will be
taking through the path of our future.Indeed, as a future mentor, though we know the struggles that we
faced while we are just in the process in doing this portfolio, we still eager to do our job, stay flexible
and be positive at all time because we believd that if there is hard work, there is always success, and
that’s the essence of being a truly future mentor.
