One of the main differences between the families of antiquity with the current families is

that the man is no longer necessarily the head of the family. In the modern family, both
women and men participate in the processes of raising, maintaining the home and
participating in different activities that were previously exclusive to women or men, where
practices of machismo normally predominated.
Throughout history there have been important changes in the way families eat. Before,
freshly harvested products were consumed, while different preservation methods are
currently used so that products imported from afar arrive at home in good condition.
In the past, families were large, having few children was socially frowned upon, it was a
stigma; being a single mother or separated woman was a reason for discrimination.
Currently, families are seen with a decreasing number of marriages and an increasing
number of divorces, with violence and feminicide on the rise. All of this results in more
and more children being born and/or raised out of wedlock
In conclusion, families have been changing things and have implemented others, some are
for the better and have more benefits, and others are for the worse, but that's how it is,
everything changes over the years. The internet, television, schools, religious groups…etc.
They are factors that decisively influence individual behavior as well as that of the entire
family.
