centered response to crime that allows the victim, the offender, their families, and representatives of community to address the harm caused by the crime Keadilan restorative adalah sebuah tanggapan terhadap tindak pidana yang berpusatkan pada korban yang mengizinkan korban, pelaku tindak pidana, keluarga-keluarga mereka, dan para perwakilan dari masyarakat untuk menangani kerusakan dan kerugian yang diakibatkan oleh tindak pidana Masing-masing pihak yang terlibat dalam suatu tindak pidana diberikan kesempatan untuk bermusyawarah, restorative justice menekankan pada kesejahteraan dan keadilan. Korban tindak pidana berhak menuntut ganti rugi kepada pelaku tindak pidana yaitu kerugian yang telah dideritanya, sedangkan pelaku tindak pidana wajib mengganti kerugian yang disebabkan olehnya kepada korban Restorative Justice merupakan sistem peradilan pidana yang berusaha mendengarkan, menenteramkan pihak-pihak yang dirugikan oleh suatu konflik dan untuk memulihkan, sejauh mungkin hubungan yang retak ke arah yang benar dan adil di antara pihak-pihak yang berlawanan, yang berfokus pada pemecahan masalah melalui mediasi, konsiliasi, dialog dan restitusi, untuk secara timbal balik memperbaiki kerugian sosial dan kemungkinan menyatakan rasa penyesalan dan pemaafan. Di Indonesia sendiri, konsep ini dimuat ke dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 Tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak (UU SPPA). Pasal 1 Angka 6 UU SPPA, menyebutkan bahwa: Keadilan Restoratif adalah penyelesaian perkara tindak pidana dengan melibatkan pelaku, korban, keluarga pelaku/korban, dan pihak lain yang terkait untuk bersama-sama mencari penyelesaian yang adil dengan menekankan pemulihan kembali pada keadaan semula, dan bukan pembalasan. Prinsip restorative Justice digunakan
dalam kasus pembakaran ruang kelas yang dilakukan V, seorang anak 11 tahun siswi MI Muhammadiyah Ngombakan, Sukoharjo pada tahun 2016. Orang tua V dan pihak MI Muhammadiyah Ngombakan akhirnya mencapai kata sepakat menutup kasus tersebut dan seluruh kerusakan ditanggung oleh pihak Muhammadiyah. Ketika menghukum seorang pelaku anak anak, pengadilan harus menjadikan rehabilitasi anak sebagai pertimbangan utama. TERIMA KASIH
