CHAPTER 6
Worksheet no. 8

I. Enumeration - The eight harmful effects of pornography:

1. Sexual arousal;
2. Aggression;
3. Desensitization;
4. Attitude towards women;
5. Decline in family values;
6. Causal model of rape;
7. Feminist ideological effects; and
8. Catharsis

II. Essay - Explain pornography briefly:

 The term "pornography" (or "porn") refers to images intended to stimulate and provide sexual pleasure to
people who read, watch, hear, or handle them. Although sexual stimulation appears to be a wonderful
objective, it is not necessarily seen as such in a puritanical society. Opponents frequently avoid discussing the
benefits of arousal in favor of blaming pornographers for ugly objectives, while pornographers themselves may
muddy the waters by claiming that their products are instructional rather than purposely arousing. Because
debates about sexual expression often conceal concerns of politics, religion, gender, ethnicity, class, and (most
importantly) sexuality, irrelevant claims and assertions are not only common, but also appear to be required in
any discussion of pornography.

CHAPTER 6
Worksheet no. 9

I. Essay

1. Define Cybersex

 Cybersex, often known as computer sex, is a virtual sex encounter in which two or more people connect
remotely over a computer network and transmit sexually explicit communications to each other. It's a type of
role-playing in which players pretend to have a real sexual encounter by explaining what they're doing and
replying to their chat partners, usually in writing, with the goal of inspiring their own sexual thoughts and
fantasies.
2. Is cybersex acceptable in our country? Explain.

 President Benigno Aquino III of the Philippines has made international headlines since signing a bill prohibiting
cybersex as part of a cybercrime prevention strategy. "Willful engagement, maintenance, management, or
operation, direction or indirectly, of any lascivious exhibition of genital organs or sexual activity, with the use of
a computer system, for favor or reward," according to the law. The Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 attempts
to reduce cybercrime by making certain activities unlawful, including cybersquatting, computer-related forgery
and identity theft, and child pornography.
