Business Plan (format)

Introductory page. This is the title or cover page that provides a brief summary of the business
plan’s contents. It should contain the name and address of the company, the name of the
entrepreneur and contact details, website (if available) etc.

1. Executive Summary – this section of the business plan is prepared after the total plan is written
that should stimulate the interest of the potential investor. It should highlight the key points of
the business plan in a concise and convincing manner.

2. Business Details
 The Company – background of the company/business, location, the people behind the
operations, history, etc.
 Mission, Vision and Objectives
 The Product/Service - include an actual sample/picture demonstration
 The Target Market – discuss your prospect with the most foreseen willingness and potential
to buy the products and services
 The Place – discuss the location of your business as on how you see it as a feasible area to
put the business up.
 The Brand

- Tagline/Slogan
- Logo
- Unique Selling Proposition

6. Financial Plan/Projection – this includes projection of key financial data that determine
economic feasibility and necessary financial investment commitment. Provide a computation of
a simplified Return on Investment by deducting the estimated CapEx and OpEx from the
forecasted Revenue on an annual basis.

This section of Business Plan template provides an area where to summarize the findings of the
proposal and explain why this course of action is or is not recommended. This section may include a
description of pros and cons for the initiative being considered. This section should be brief since most
of the detail is included elsewhere in the document. Additionally, it should capture the likelihood of
success for the business idea being studied.

presentation.
