CONCLUSION

A Schematic diagram and uncomplicated variables are offered in this section. It was

shown in figure 1 the search for the effectiveness of Katarungang Pambarangay in resolving

Barangay Dispute. Effective reconciliation is the aim of the Lupong Tagapamayapa and

according to (Dela Cruz et. al, 2018) Lupong Tagapamayapa has low ratings on their issuance of

the certificate to file action due to the reasons that the lupon aims to make the conciliation

process successful that they do not immediately give the pertinent document for the parties to

have an ample time to think and decide over the matter in hopes that it be reconciled. The

evidence was followed that the barangay officials and Lupon members are readily available and

accommodating in offering the higher performance of their responsibilities in accordance with

current legal regulations assuring that the parties subject to the conciliation process must be

necessary and mandatory. Likewise, the Lupon Tagapamayapa and its Barangay officials are
largely effective in carrying out their job of resolving disputes amicably (Habiatan, 2019). There

for there are studies existing that prove the effectiveness of Katarungang Pambarangay.

However, the researcher found that there were more to explore and learn from this study. In this

case, the dependent variable is the origin of the line whereas the is the katarungang Pambarangay

On the other hand, the independent variable is the effectiveness. it was shown underneath the

line is the arrow pointing down which is the conclusion and recommendation for the

Katarungang Pambarangay to be more effective, after an in-depth analysis of the response of the

participants. According to Mulders (2017) arrows between two concepts only indicate that there

were casual links or that arrows come from influences where the arrow points to. The influence

talked about in the diagram is about the effectiveness of Katarungang Pambarangay in resolving

Barangay disputes.

Statement of the problem

Standards and procedures of Katarungang Pambarangay are based on the Katarungang

Pambarangay Handbook of 2004 and it greatly used in this study. This study determined and

analyzed the Effectiveness of Katarungang Pambarangay in resolving Barangay disputes.

Specifically it sought to answer the following question:

1. How effective Katarungang Pambarangay in terms of:

1.1 their conciliation efforts

1.2 enforcement of rules and governing laws

1.3 qualities on choosing the lupon members

1.4 settled, on-going and pending cases

2. what are the problems encountered by the Katarungang Pambarangay in settling

Barangay disputes?
