Holidays with friends in Europe

INTRODUCTION
Good evening teachers and classmates. At this moment, we are going to present our project
work called: HOLLIDAYS WITH FRIENDS IN EUROPE. This will be about a group of
friends who decide to travel with a guide and get to know different countries and cultures. It
is based on all the topics that we have learned this cycle such as how about + verb + ing, can
and could, positive statement, present continouns with future meaning and comparative
adjectives and have.
The members of my group are:

LET'S START
lunch meeting
Delia: Hello, girls.
Thalia: Hi girls!, I hope you are doing well.
Treysi: Hello girls! What a pleasure to see you and to be able to have lunch together on this
special day. I’m sure you are doing well.
Alexa: Hello friends, on the way here, they gave me this poster, it looks super interesting.
Thalia: Oh! That sounds good.
Delia: Could we go? I think we would have an amazing experience.
Treysi: Wonderful! Apparently, that agency has good tours and with an affordable price. I
would like to travel with them.
Alexa: Yes, my dad traveled there and it was very good for him
Delia: Now that we have your dad’s review, we can plan our journey
Thalia: It’s going to be a lot of fun to travel. We could go on a trip on these vacations.
Treysi: Girls, what do you think if we go to the agency directly since it is reliable and there
may be promotions on these dates.
Alexa: Yes girls, we are going to ask which tour is the best.

IN THE TRAVEL AGENCY:


Camila: Good afternoon girls, welcome to "travel the world". How can I help you?
Delia: we want to travel and we are looking for offers

Camila: Where do you want to go? I show you some photos of the options we have

Treysi: Let's enjoy the waves beaches of Cancun

Alexa: Hmmm. I want a tour that makes us know many places

Camila: Would you like to travel to Europe? How about taking a gondola through the canals
of Venice? or some photos in the eiffel tower?

Thalia: Great idea

Treysi: That sounds cool, too.

Delia: So we going to Europe

Camila: for when the tour was booked and for how many people?

Alexa: For the following month and for 4 people

Camila: See you girls, take care of yourselves

In the airport:
Camila:Okay girls, where do you want to go first?There are so many cool places to visit in
Europe.
Delia: Look, this photo for Roma looks interesting.
Treysi: Good point. My sister will travel there next year for her honeymoon.
Alexa: I love Roman history, I already want to get there
Delia: Me, too.
Camila: excellent choice. We're having Carpaccio for dinner tonight. Hmm!
Thalia: Let's board the plane to Rome.

After the trip to Rome


At the hotel

Camila: I could spend years here. I am a fan of Roman culture and food. Our next destination
is Paris.
Treysi: Friends. Look at this travel ad for Paris. It’s really interesting. There are so many
incredible things we could do.
Thalia: Yeah, that looks fantastic. We could go on a tourist bus
Alexa: Or take a boat ride on the Seine and Crepes next to the Eiffel Tower
Camila: We could go on the tourist bus to see the city and then take a boat ride.
Delia: I can speak two languages: English, French and Spanish. I'll get a French boyfriend.
Camila: Go to sleep. The flight leaves at 5:00 am.

The next day


Thalia: Camila, Why does it take so long at the airport?
Camila: It's because of the security process. The security process can take between 10 and 30
minutes. Passengers who follow the rules go through the fastest. And the lines are longer on
Fridays and before holidays.
Delia: Of course, that's why they ask us to arrive earlier.
Alexa: On the bus they don't ask us to arrive as soon as on the plane. But, the plane is faster
than the bus.
Treysi: Can you pass my backpack to me? That’s my carry-on.
Camila: Whose is this passport?
Thalia: It’s Delia’s. Don't forget anything.
Camila: Let's go to the airport,
Delia: Tonight we will sleep in the city of love.
Treysi: Paris awaits us.

After the trip to Paris


At the airport to Perú:

Camila: The trip was very interesting. I have some memories to give to my family and to you.
Thank you for trusting my agency. It's time to go back to Peru.
Treysi: Our gate is over there. Let's move girls. Our flight leaves soon.
Camila: Wait, look at the Departure board, it says our flight is delayed.
Thalia: It says it leaves in an hour. I have these fashion magazines to distract us.
Alexa: I forgot, I have to buy my sleeping pills on the flight.
Delia: I have these photos to paste in the album.
Treysi: It's time to board, let's go.

CONCLUSION

● The use of "HOW ABOUT" helped us to propose travel alternatives.


● The use of "positive statements" allows us to indicate that we agree with someone.
● Learning to use the "present continuous with future meaning" allows us to
communicate what we will do in the near future.
● Correctly using the "can and could by possibility" allows us to indicate what abilities
we have or plans of what they could do.
● The use of “WHOSE” is used to ask who owns an object and the use of "IT´S" to
indicate the owner.
● The use of "than" is to indicate comparisons between objects or qualities.
