Procedural Rules

VOLUME I

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 200

SECTION 200 of Volume I of the Procedural Rules of the Public Service Commission published in Gazette Extraordinary
No. 1589/30 of 20.02.2009 is amended as follows.
200. The composition of an annual transfer committe of a Ministry or Department shall be as follows :

(i) A deputy head of the relevant Department or Ministry or in the absence of such a post the senior most
assistant head of such Ministry or Department ;
(ii) A senior officer in charge of establishment matters of the relevant Ministry or Department ;
(iii) A representative nominated by each trade union representing the category of officers and service falling
within the purview of the annual transfer committee, provided that such trade union has a minimum membership
of 15% of the total number of officers.
or
A representative nominated by each trade union of which an officer has been released for fulltime trade union
work.
