What This Module is About

If you are given a chance to decide for yourself, what could have been your life
now? Do you think you have achieved what you want for yourself? Critical thinking is
the ability to think in an organized and rational manner in order to understand
connections between ideas and/or facts

This learner - module provide appropriate and critical feedback/reaction to a


specific context or situation which will help the learners to realize the importance of
making wise decision in one’s life. An appropriate wise and clever decision will bring out
the best result of one’s actions. That attitude is a reflected way in a person’s behavior.
Whether it be positive, negative or neutral, we are consistently able to make wise
decisions.

The selections provided will help the learners understand fully that one’s
behavior acceptable or detestable is a manifestation of your attitude. In this journey, you
will be able to link yourself from the past to the modern times to be able to evade
making critical decisions at fast pace.

For you to follow exactly the trails of your journey toward right preferences, the
author encourages you to read and comprehend the lesson and be open with your
reactions in each given situation.

2. The Philippine’s latest current issue, Francis Leo Antonio Marcos, a known
philanthropist is said to be a scammer. That everything he did is a ploy despite of his
good deeds shown on social media where he gives truckloads of rice and other stuffs
to the needy in this times of crisis. Many would say it’s a syndicate and now he is put
behind bars. Does he deserve to be in jail? Give your views about this.

What is it

What is critical feedback?

CRITICAL FEEDBACK

• the ability to provide negative or positive critical feedback that is open to


interpretation

• it requires the learners to have an active listening and taking the time to analyze,
and then thinking of the best possible solution to perform better

• through criticism, the learner improves one’s thinking with skillful analysis,
evaluation, assessment and reconstruction

• it allows the reader to have an effective communication & problem-solving


abilities in “real world”

• and more importantly, critical feedback brings the learners’ together and creates
a healthy communication flow.

Summary

What is critical feedback?

• It is a dialogue between people which reflects back how another person


sees someone else’s behavior or performance

• It is not only the giving out of responses be it constructive (positive) or


destructive (negative), but also receiving it is essential for efficiently
sharing of information within teams and groups

• It is an interaction of responses that would bring out better results.

• It comes after critical thinking. Your ability to think clearly and rationally
about what to do or what to believe includes the ability to engage in
thoughtful and independent thinking through which brings out its response
among and between ideas.

• It is the collection of information and taking proper decision

• It identifies, constructs and evaluates arguments

• It answers problem systematically

• It Identifies the relevance and importance of ideas

• It reflects on the justification of one's own beliefs and values
