You need to complete either an interior or a scene surrounding the house, which will you choose and what
will you include?
I chose to complete both of the requirements which are the interiors inside the house and the scene
surrounding the house. However, I focused more on the interiors inside the house because it would be
easier to present my topic which is Haunted House. For the interiors inside the house, I divided the house
to different rooms that included different things. Mainly, I put some furniture like chair, table… with the
Halloween theme; and I also added some extra decorations, such as pumpkin or skull statues, piano to
create the sense of haunted house for my design.

What troubles have you encountered so far in the designing of your house?
There are some troubles that I have encountered like house arrangements and house building. With the
house building, I didn’t know how build different floors for my house, so I only had one floor. My
original plan was to build a house that has 2 floors, but if I built the second floor, I couldn’t put the
interiors inside and created different walls to make rooms for my house. Therefore, I needed to change the
plan from having 2 floors to having only one floor. Furthermore, the house arrangements are also
complicated because there were so many that I wanted to put, but TinkerCAD doesn’t have the object, so
I had to do it manually which would consume so many time. For example, I wanted to put a bed in the
bedroom area inside my house, but TinkerCAD didn’t have the bed in their objects section, and if I built
the bed by myself, it would be extremely complicated not only during the building process but also during
the arranging process because I couldn’t move the bed around smoothly.

What difficulties did you have using TinkerCAD (please be specific)?
During the time using TinkerCAD, I encountered so many problems. First of all, building the basic house
was already very difficult since the way the website was quite confusing. I didn’t know how to make the
walls to divide the rooms inside my house, and also I didn’t know how to build an actual house with walls
surrounding. Therefore, I asked my teammate which is Muna to teach me how to do it, and I figured out
how to divide the rooms. Next of all, there were some interiors that didn’t have the made sample from the
website, so I had to change the plan a little bit. For example, my original plan for the bedroom area
included the bed, but when I checked the interiors sample, there were no bed was made, so I had to cancel
the bed out of my plan. There was a reason for why I didn’t make the bed manually, and it was because if
I made the bed manually, it would be so complicated to move the bed around because the shapes would
be falling of each other.

You have three more weeks (3 classes) to complete the design of your house and create a physical model.
Create a timeline plan for how you will use your time to create the physical house and finish your website
(Please be very specific)

What do you have left to do?

Tasks:
- Fix the interiors inside the house such as the arrangement of everything
- Add things inside the bedroom area
- Take screenshots of the digital house model inside and outside
- Use cardboard to make the house first without the roof
- Use cardboard and paper to make the interiors inside and color it if we have time
- Make the roof last and stick it onto the house
Day 1: We had to fix some of the interiors inside the house because there were a little bit messy and
needed to be tidy up. Next of all, we will have to fill up the bedroom with something (bed, table…)
because there is nothing inside our bedroom area right now. Next of all, we also had to put something
around the house, such as some small decorations or grass… because even though we didn’t choose to
focus into surrounding parts, but we still wanted to create something as perfect as possible. We will take
screenshots of the current house and put it on the website.

Day 2: Furthermore, we had to build up the house with the materials that we already planned out. For
example, first of all, we had to use the cardboards to build up the basic house first without any decoration
because we will stick all of the decoration or other materials onto the cardboard base. We will put the roof
as the last step because we need to put the interiors inside of the house first by using different materials
(papers or cardboards and color paint).

Day 3: We will make the roof with cardboard and paint it with color, and also stick up the cotton on the
roof for the decoration. Next after we complete the roof, we will stick it onto the house model that already
has interiors inside.

**Your 3-D house, your original drawing, and your physical model will all be compared for
consistency and accuracy. Additionally, I will use the measurements in your 3-D render and your
measurements here against the measurements of the physical model. Please be accurate.

***This sheet will be used as a baseline for your physical model please be very detailed here
