This figure of speech is the consecutive
usage of words starting with a constant
sound.

Eg- Avoid Alliteration Always.

Here, all the words start with an ‘A’. So
the figure of speech used is alliteration.
This figure of speech is seen when someone
adresses or calls out a non-existent entity.

Eg- “Oh, you stupid car. Please cooperate

with me today!”
Here the speaker has referred to a car,
which is inanimate object that can’t reply.
So the figure of speech is apostrophe.
This figure of speech is the exaggeration of
terms to emphasize it or to add value.

Eg- I just ate a metric tonne of sausages.

Here a metric tonne is used to put
emphasis on just how many sausages are
eaten by the speaker. So the figure of
speech used is Hyperbole.
