When we talk about Pythagorean theorem, it simply states that if a triangle is right-angled (i.e.

its one of
the internal angle is 90 degree), then the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of
the other two sides.

Now lets talk about Pythagorean theorem's proof , However it can be proved by different methods but I
believe in practical knowledge. So, to prove it practical you can draw a right angle and join its end . Using
scale measure the each sides of triangle formed. Surely you will be getting h 2=p2+b2 . Virtually or in free
sheet I could make you understand better using derivation as well.

Talking about its application, It is immensely used in the field of engineering ; finding the correct
inclination of ladder, navigation and many more.
