FGBMFI SW3 INTERNATIONAL PRAISE DAY 2023 COMMITTEE REPORT

1. The International Praise Day Committee comprised of Ayeni Abiola (Chairman), Bar. Tunji
Omole, Akin Oluwole, Dr. Muna Chira, Pharm Jude Elue, Dr. Kehinde Makinde, Mrs. Sola Omole
(LOF representative) and Dr. Dapo Collins were saddled with planning and execution of 2023
International Praise Day.

2. The committee commenced preparatory meeting in November 2022 and key decisions on
Venue, Date, Music Ministers, Main Speaker and Budget Launcher were proposed to the
Director's Board for approval.

3. The following important landmarks were decided for the 2023 international Praise Day:

i. Date - 21st January 2023

ii. Venue - Oranmiyan Hall, Airport Hotel, Ikeja
iii. Main Speaker - Mr. Adebola Olubanjo
iv. Music Ministers - Three musicians namely John Walex Bukola Olubona Tosin Alao were
approached to perform at the event.
v. Budget - The total budget for the event amounted to N2,906100 covering the Hall Hire,
Equipment and PAS rental, Honoraria for the Main Speaker and the music ministers,
food and water for the attendees, mobilization inputs and Hall decoration. It is
heartwarming to report that almost total amount of the budget was sponsored by
committee members.

4. Preparation: Intense prayers and mobilization drive through one-on-one chat, deliberate and
systematic usage of e-flyers as well as online Jingles were deployed as the day drew near.
The day finally came and the Lord did gloriously amongst us, all benchmarks were surpassed.
Praise God.

5. The Event: The testimonies of Engr. Banjo Adeyoju and Dr. Olubanjo chronicled God’s
providence, favour and miraculous interventions.

6. Statistical Report:
i. Total attendance: 485 (men 222, ladies 218 and children 45).
ii. First timers: 12
iii. Salvation Decision: 7
iv. Zone 2 had the highest attendance with 40, followed by Zone 1 with 30, Zones 9 and 16
had 29 while Zone 14 recorded the least-with 12 in attendance.
 7. Pledges:
i. Total Pledge promoted: N 25,000,000.00
ii. Total Pledge: N 22,680,000.00
iii. Pledge Redeemed: N 3,373,000.00

8. Offering:
i. Onsite Cash Offering: N 162,860.00
ii. Online Offering: N 265,000.00
iii. Total: N 427,860.00

9. Observations:
Following the shoddy parking arrangement by the management of Airport Hotel, a number of
the attendees at the event were not captured by the registration team using digital Google
channel hence the total attendance captured on our digital platform only amounted to 3 71
persons while the physical count by the Ushering team gave 485 attendees which we all
considered as the actual because the hall was arranged to accommodate 550 persons by the
hotel.

10. There were avoidable disruptions at the early part of the event caused by outages for which the
committee held the Hotel management responsible for. Similarly, we also observed that the
cooling system was not adequate and so we have resolved to write a letter of complaints on
these inadequacies to the management of the Hotel.

11. Conclusion - We appreciate the DC and the entire board for the opportunity to serve, we pray
that His Glory will continue to shine on our beloved District and Fellowship in Jesus name.
