MINUTES OF THE CCIT-SBO MEETING

April 17, 2022; 3:30 PM

I. Call to Order
The CCIT – Student Body Organization meeting was called to order at 3:00 PM,
April 17, 2022 and was presided by Mr. Jan Rhey T. Musa.

II. Business Proper


A. Presentation of Agenda.
Mr. Jan Rhey T. Musa presented to the CCIT-SBO officers the following agenda:
1. Title of the said project – CCIT: TECHNOLYMPICS AND TECHTALK
2. Venue
3. Participants
4. Activities on first and second day of event
5. Working team

B. Approval of the Agenda and Discussion


1. Title of the said project
The body agreed that the title of the said project is CCIT: TECHNOLYMPICS
AND TECHTALK with the theme “Flaming the T.O.R.C.H. – TEAMWORK,
OPPORTUNITY, RISE, CAMARADERRIE and HONOR”.

2. Venue
Mr. Musa suggested that the venue of the first day of the event will be held at the
Communication and Technology Building while the second day of the event will
continue via Zoom and Fb Live which the body agreed.

3. Participants
The room is full of suggestions regarding the number of participants. The body
agreed to have one team per campus for each competition. Each team is composed
of three members.

4. Budget
Mr. Musa and other officers present at the meeting agreed to charge the following
expenses to the CCIT-SBO Funds:
a. Food Budget worth P75,000.00
b. Materials worth P5,566.775
c. Prizes worth P8,800.00
d. Honorariums worth P15,000.00
e. Contingency Fund worth P5,218.00
Total Amount: P104, 366.75

5. Activities on first and second day of event


a. First day
o Pre-Registration
Participants, coaches and facilitators must have a complete document
that are consists of: ID, complete vaccination and waiver.
o Registration
Registration will start at Seven Thirty until Eight in the morning and
will be held at the CATB multimedia room. Not all students are
required and allowed to go to school since we have limitations. In this
case, the opening program and Quiz Bowl will provide an online
viewing via FB Live and Zoom in order for the students to be able to
participate even if they are not in school. It is noted to observe social
distancing.
o Opening Program
Mr. Ragadio suggested that it is better for the opening program to take
place in front of the CATB. Mr. Musa shared the idea to make the set-
up of the event like the Olympics where there is a cauldron and torch to
light which is the body agreed.
o Competition proper
For the Logo making and Web Design, we must prepare the criteria for
judging with description. For the Programming, if the team did not
bring their own installer of the program they will be using, it will result
to disqualification.
o Roster of judges

Logo making: Mr. Arnold, the SSG President Mr. Mj Malunjao, and the
Student Regent, Mr. Jev Earlvince Maranan.

Web Design: Mr. Darwin Morana, Mr. Carl Angelo Pamplona and Mr.
Hansel Ada.
b. Second day
The second day event is a webinar that will be held via Zoom and Fb Live. The
guest speakers will discuss about the current trends in IT industry. After the
webinar, the announcement of the winners of the competition will be flashed
on live and their certificates.

6. Working team
The facilitators must consist of one faculty and three students. This is a tentative
list for each competition:
o Web Design: Nikko Mawili, Mherlyn Evangelista and Eigeman Go; no
faculty assigned yet.
o Logo Making: no faculty and student assigned yet.
o Programming: Mr. Daniel Bachillar – faculty assigned; no student assigned
yet.
o Quiz Bowl: Ms. Rowela Gongora, – faculty assigned; no student assigned
yet.

III. Adjournment
There have been no other remaining topics for discussion, the meeting was
adjourned at 4:30 in the afternoon.
