III. General requirements

1. Participants are students at all State/Private Universities in Indonesia/abroad,

as evidenced by a valid Student Identity Card (KTM)/Passport.
2. Participants consist of individuals or groups, with the following conditions:
 May be individually/per team provided that one team consists of a
maximum of 3 (three) people, with 1 (one) person as chairman.
 Each team submits a maximum of 1 (one) work.

3. The work is original, has never been published and entered in other
competitions.

4. Participants must submit works related to the theme for assessment purposes.

5. The works submitted by the participants become the rights of the committee
and will not be returned.

6. Works are not allowed to promote certain products or labels.

7. The work is in the form of an educational video (using a graphics program or

application on a computer).

8. Participants must comply with applicable rules and regulations.

9. Participants who cheat either before, during, or after the competition will be
disqualified

IV. Registration Terms

1. Participants must pay a registration fee with the following conditions:

Registration will be held on July 6 - July 28, 2021 with a registration fee of
Rp. 100.000,- (one hundred thousand rupiah/work).The fee is paid to the
 account of the committee, Bank Syariah Indonesia 7145352597 a/n NOOR
AHMAD YUDA

2. The registration procedure for the 2nd BGSC International Video

Competition is as follows:
 Participants register on the website www.bgsc.umbjm.ac.id

 Select Join now

 Fill in the requested data on the website

 Choose a category (Online and Fully Program)

 Submit

 Login with your password and username

 Choose the details of the activities offered for prospective

participants in the online program, while for prospective participants,
all are fully followed
 After that there will be a fee that must be paid

 Upload proof of payment

 Upload proof of identity

 Upload proof of parental consent (*For Fully Program)

 After uploading, then within 1x24 hours you will immediately get
verification
 Later, there will be a button to upload the work automatically
according to the competition you are participating in
 Upload your work along with the originality sheet on the participant's
account.
 The originality sheet can be downloaded on the website

 Then Submit

V. Video Technical Instructions

 Video Formats
a. The work is a type of educational video
b. Videos using good and correct English.

c. Works created with video maker applications on computers such as Corel Video Studio,
Windows Movie Maker, Videopad, Video LAN Movie Creator, Adobe Premiere Pro,
Adobe After Effects or other applications that support
d. Video Characteristics

Video duration : 3− 5 minutes

File size : 750 MB
 File formats : MP4, AVI, 3GP, or FLV
Frame size : minimum 1280 x 768

e. Participants must include:

 Video Title

 Maker Name

 Logo 2nd BGSC

 The logo can be downloaded on the 2nd BGSC website (www.bgsc.umbjm.ac.id)

f. Participants are prohibited from attaching the University logo.

g. The name of the participant listed in the registration form must match the name of the
participant listed in the video.

h. The target of the video is the general public so that the video content must contain a
clear meaning, use effective and easy-to-understand sentences.

i. The work must not contain elements of SARA, pornography, and

violate social norms and applicable laws
j. The work is submitted on time according to the specified date.
k. If there is evidence of violation of the provisions, the work will be disqualified. The
decision of the jury is absolute, accountable, binding and cannot be contested.

l. Videos meet the following general criteria:

 Interesting

 Have a clear and structured flow of thought

 Informative

 Following the specified requirements

 Collection

a. Entries must be submitted no later than July 28, 2021, at 23:59

WIB.

b. Works uploaded to (www.bgsc.umbjm.ac.id) format (maximum

file size 750 MB). With the file name: VIDEO_NAME OF
PARTICIPANTS_UNIVERSITY/ ORIGIN_TITLE

c. Originality sheet must be uploaded to (www.bgsc.umbjm.ac.id)

File name : VIDEO_ORIGINALITAS PAPER_NAME OF
PARTICIPANTS.
d. If it is past that date, the participant is considered to have resigned and
 the registration fee is non-refundable

VI. Competition Implementation

The competition is held online through a platform that has been determined by
the committee. The competition consists of several rounds with the following
explanation:

1. Elimination round

The preliminary round is the selection round for softcopy video works based
on the works that have been collected. The scoring system is the
accumulation of the jury's assessment, 6 grand finalists are selected based on
the best video evaluations. The submission of works and the implementation
of the competition is done online. The judges' decision will be final

2. Grand Finals

Six selected grand finalists will present their work in the grand final round.
After the announcement of the six works that have been selected. Grand
finalists are required to register and present on time. All participants who enter
the grand final round will get a grand finalist certificate. The grand finalist will
be considered disqualified by the committee if they have not registered. Grand
finalists must be present on the platform used for presentation 15 minutes
before the grand final opening begins, each grand finalist is given a maximum
of 5-7 minutes to present their respective works.
The Grand Finals will be held on:

2021 Time : 15.00 – 16.00 WIB
The place : Platforms which has been determined by
the activity : Presentation Grand Finalist Videos

VII. Assessment criteria

 Originality of ideas

 Innovation and creativity

  Quality of content, message delivery or communication

2. Grand Final(Presentation)

 Interesting presentation

 Clear and systematic presentation of material

 Material mastery

 Innovation and creativity

3. All decisions of the jury are final and cannot be contested.

VIII. Timeline

1. Registration : August 6, 2021 - August 28, 2021

2. Video Art Submission Limit : August 28, 2021

3. Announcement of the Top 6 Finalists : Sept 2, 2021

4. Grand Final : Sept 4, 2021

5. Winner announcement : Sept 7, 2021

IX. Present

First Place: Cash Rp. 850.000 + Certificate

Second Place: Cash Rp. 650,000+ Certificates

Third Place: Cash Rp. 500,000+ Certificates
