Managing Cloud Based Business Solution

Cloud Computing?

NIST. 2022. The NIST Definition of Cloud Computing. [ONLINE] Available at:
https://nvlpubs.nist.gov/nistpubs/legacy/sp/nistspecialpublication800-145.pdf. [Accessed 17
April 2022].
Advantages
1. Greater flexibility
The company has the ability to deploy applications according to their needs,
increasing or decreasing them with agility without always having to consider
the investments in physical hardware.
2. System security
Data and networks are protected with specific protocols and are practically
always equipped with backup procedures.
3. Faster speed
Immediate availability of data and information, thanks to dedicated data bands
with high capacities.
4. Mobile access
This can obviously also happen with a system on a company server, but the use
of cloud computing allows you not to burden the company network. The data
connection can thus be made in any place, time and from any device:
smartphone, PC, tablet.
5. Saving money
Cloud computing allows great savings on investments in hardware and does
not require maintenance, updating and monitoring personnel.

Architecture

Four Layers of Cloud Computing Architecture

1.The Hardware Layer
2.These strata are responsible for handling the physical assets of the cloud. These
physical assets could include switches, servers, routers, cooling systems, and power.
3.The Infrastructure Layer
4.These strata are also referred to as the virtualization strata. The infrastructure strata
create a pool of storage capacity and computing resources by dividing the physical
resources. This division is done by utilizing virtualization technologies such as VMware
and KVM.
5.The Platform Layer
6.The platform strata are based on top of the infrastructure strata. The composition of
this strata is made up of operating systems and the required structures.
7.The Application Layer
8.These strata consist of real cloud provisions. These provisions are utilized for Web
Services, Business Applications, and Multimedia Services
