SUBJECT : Online Jamboree Registration Portal

(Addendum to BSP National Office Memorandum No. 64,
Series of 2021 re: 25th World Scout Jamboree)

1. The International Relations Committee of the BSP’s National Executive Board, in its
meeting on 7 October 2021 has resolved to streamline and expedite the processing of
applications for the upcoming 25th World Scout Jamboree by way of opening an online
jamboree registration portal. Taking into consideration the pandemic-induced lockdowns
and quaratine measures enforced by the government, the said portal will lessen the
unnecessary travels and/or external contact of interested applicants, remove procedural
requirements with lower priorities, and at the same time bring the opportunity closer to
more young people.

2. As an offshoot of this development, Scouts and Scout Leaders who are interested and
physically fit to participate in the 25th World Scout Jamboree may now apply through
the Online Jamboree Registration Portal accessible through this link:

bit.ly/bsp_wsj2023

3. Applications submitted electronically through the portal will be sent directly to the BSP
National Office and will not require the submission of the medical certificate as of now,
but will only be required at a later date of the application after the requisite evaluation
of qualifications specified in the previous memorandum under, BSP National Office
Memorandum No. 64, Series 2021 issued on 13 September 2021 is approved by the
Jamboree Participation Screening Team.
 Additionally, participating Scouts (those aged between 14 to 17 years old) must be
holders of at least the Venturer Scout Rank at the time of the Jamboree.

4. Upon receipt of the online application, the BSP National Office will prepare the list of
applicants per region on a weekly basis and send it to their corresponding Regional
Offices for verification and group endorsements.

SUBJECT : 25th WORLD SCOUT JAMBOREE in 2023

1. We are pleased to inform you that upon the invitation of the World Organization of the Scout
Movement (WOSM), the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) will be sending delegations to the 25 th
WORLD SCOUT JAMBOREE to be hosted by the Korean Scouts Association (KSA), on 01 – 12 August
2023, at SaeManGeum, Jeollabuk-do, Korea.

2. QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the qualifications for the participating Scouts, Adult Leaders
and International Service Team, viz:

2.1 Scouts Applicants:

- Duly registered as a Senior Scouts.
- Must be at least fourteen (14) to seventeen (17) years old.
- Must be physically fit as certified by a registered physician and in good health.
- Must be equipped with camping gears.
- The Scout must have attended the BSP National/International Jamboree.

2.2 Adult Leaders Applicant

- Must be currently registered as an Adult Leader of the BSP.
- Must be physically fit as certified by a registered physician.
- Must be of good moral character.
- Must be equipped with camping gears.
- Preferably a Bead Holder or graduate of Advanced Training Course (ATC) with at least three
(3) years of experience and service.
- Must have attended at least two (2) BSP National/International Jamboree and have served
as Adult Leader.

2.3 International Service Team Applicants

- Must be currently registered as an Adult Leader aged between eighteen (18) to fifty-five
(55) years old.
- Must be physically fit as certified by a registered physician.
- Must be of good moral character.
- Must be equipped with camping gears.
- Preferably a Bead Holder or graduate of Advanced Training Course (ATC)
- Must have attended at least two (2) BSP National/International Jamboree served as
NST/IST.
- Must be duly recommended by Council Scout Executive/Officer-In-Charge and the Regional
Scout Director.
- Must passed the Safe from Harm examinations by the 25th WSJ.
 Mode of Selection: The National Office, BSP reserves the right to select the members of the
delegation, based on the qualifications set and on a first come first serve basis.

3. JAMBOREE FEE DETAILS: Stated below are some important information regarding the Jamboree
Registration System and procedures, viz:

3.1 Jamboree Fee:

Senior Scouts, Adult Leaders, IST, CMT

3.2 The Jamboree Fee includes the following:

- Transportation service from Incheon International Airport- Jamboree Site and back.
- Registration Kit: Scarf, Jamboree Badge, ID Card
- Single-person tent with sleeping mat
- Meals from dinner on 01 August to Breakfast on 12 August 2023. For IST staff from dinner
29 July to breakfast on 13 August 2023
- Cooking Equipment (excluding personal items such as cutlery and plates).
- Unit camping kit (Tarps, tables, and chairs).

4. The cost of participation fee:
