I. INTRODUCTION

Despite the fact that transportation networks are ubiquitous in modern society,

individuals tend to take them for granted until something goes wrong. Airlines are

known to fail as economic operations, public institutions have deficits, traffic

disasters are common, and spacecraft are sometimes lost. Understanding

transportation networks in terms of their technological and economic complexity, as

well as their significant societal implications, is a broad and intriguing subject of

study. This article, as well as the various articles it describes, aim to convey the thrill

of these systems at an introductory level, while also encouraging additional research

and reading. The financial return on investment is frequently used to justify

transportation spending. To be sure, public investment in transportation

infrastructure generates both short-term and long-term economic growth.Transport is

without a doubt one of the most intricate and intriguing economic areas. Without

transportation, contemporary economies would certainly collapse.

Historically, transportation infrastructure investment was justified only on the

basis of profit or to support the larger public objective of nation-building.

Externalization were not considered because they were borne by society, with the

investment perceived as progress because of the jobs created. However, as the

globe has become more populated, coupled with catastrophic incidents that have

been emphasized by the media, public opinion has demanded that any investment,

public or private, pass a rigorous test that includes previously disregarded

externalization. In many circumstances, determining the effects of externalization

may be a very subjective art. The transportation industry has a variety of distinct

characteristics that make ordinary economic wisdom only of limited help in assessing

the sector's costs and benefits. Nonetheless, such an evaluation is a vital input for

the development of transportation policy based on sound economic principles. A

number of these transportation idiosyncrasies will be discussed in this study, which

tries to provide a comprehensive overview. An overview of the issues concerning the

advantages and costs of transportation, as well as their policy consequences.

II. SIGNIFICANCE

A transportation system is a method of transporting people or goods from one

location to another. Transportation systems have inputs, processes, outputs, and

feedback. For example, inputs to a city bus system include bus drivers and gasoline.

Processes include driving the bus and loading passengers. The output is arrival at

planned stops. Feedback contains remarks from pleased consumers. Transportation

systems are interconnected. Each system is reliant on the others. Buses and autos,

for example, transport passengers to airports and ship docks. Transportation

systems are components of our world's broader technical, social, and environmental

systems. Economic growth is a vital macroeconomic indicator, and logistics and

transportation play an important role in this. Governments must invest in logistical

infrastructure such as roads, trains, airports, and ports to stimulate economic growth.

Furthermore, governments require public investment to defend citizens' rights to

clean air, good places to live and work, as well as fundamental human rights and

equality. Because there is no monetary motivation, businesses are uninterested in

these concerns. Varied governments have different attitudes and priorities when it

comes to how much attention they give to these concerns.

At all time, transportation carries a huge responsibility and are accountable

as it consistently present a pros and cons that it will affect the people around; time,

money, people, businesses as part of economic growth or to what extent the

government respond the necessity of its people. In the topic delivers as the

introductory of the whole representation of a transportation as system not only in the

Philippines and for other country experiencing trouble commuting or driving in a

specific road. It tackle the modes of transportation as it said not just land

representing it but also in air or naval based and again, transit are flexible and an aid

that for me transportation is a communication to the whole nation without it, became

plain and heavy to us. Also it discusses the role of how transportation a convenient

manner of delivery in all forms; societal, psychological, environmental, political,

economic and consider anthropological aspects.

III. LEASON LEARNED

As a consequence, becoming a commuter shoulder us a lot of burden. We

tend to demand a finer transportation but straightforwardly speaking, government did

not provide an effort to aid and cease the problem rather it takes a while to cover it

all. I know it all, since as countrymen already notice how weak and unstable the

government in responding the needs of the people, emphasizing the purpose of our

taxes and how it allocate it indecorously. By the end of this topic, I learned how and

am open to all the disadvantages the government in the Philippines are having and

just by watching the video, we commuter should be more adoptive and patient in this

circumstances. The topic presented us its role in the community and for any other

country experiencing unfortunate setting that we really cannot control and fixed

quickly. Again, as part of my solution, walk if still can as private vehicle (if you have

those) neither a cure nor an advantage of you but a burden as well. Transportation

system should built it to be responsive and adoptive as it acquire future plans for the

people. Also, as a commuter or if any you have a penny to buy vehicle, I recommend

you to enjoy using public transportation. Imagine while the roads are widening and

seeking for routes then we lessen the number of private cars on the road not only the

commuters will benefit but the time we spend on the road will decrease. At least if it

works in our country, we determine the taxes are using properly.
